Is it worth getting worked up about ? .
It's never going to change is it ? .
If i remember right it's been the same for as long as i can remember , Gary Newborn was always sucking up to Wolves and Birmingham in the 70's .
We really didn't get the credit we deserved when Waddo was in charge .

Was thinking exactly the same earlier.
Porstmouth, for example, have receieved very little credit for what they have acheived, even though they won the FA cup. As soon as that media luvvy arry fucked off theyve hardly had a mention.
Its not just us, its how it is Im afraid

I`d be prepared to bet that there has never been a more talked and written about promoted side in top flight football history than us this year.
OK 80% of it has been pretty un-complimentary, but as the old saying goes, there is no such thing as bad publicity. Our profile as a club has rocketed over the last 12 months.

All thast counts mate, is points on the board. I was listening to Steve Clardge's phone in on Setanta, talking to a Newcastle fan. To paraphrase, he told the fan that he'd seen Newcastle in several games that they'd lost, but he was gushing about their performance and almost repeated what Mowbray said about the Baggies. He seemed to be saying that performance counted not results. Made me wonder why he didn't tell the truth and say,'If you play crap and can't win, and if you play well and still can't win, you must be shite'. But that would be too near the truth wouldn't it.

But as the old saying goes, there is no such thing as bad publicity. Our profile as a club has rocketed over the last 12 months. It can be to the detriment of the club though. I bet next weekend we will get absolutely nothing because the media have said it wasn't a corner. Referees are clearly influenced by the media and refuse to give us freekicks when the opposition are being overly physical and they give freekicks against us for very little.
