Good defender, not many people get past him but when he has the ball, why can't he play a short pass to a Stoke player instead of thumping it 30 yards in the general direction of a Stoke player only for the ball to end up with the opposition? Disappointed in no match winner from Cresswell. A great pity that Etherington didn't manage to kill the game off when he was clean through. Once they scored, and Carroll's goal was reminiscent of the kind John Ritchie used to score, there was never any chance we would get the winner. Two points and the opportunity to put more distance between us and the relegation zone were lost today. But we are Stoke and never make life easy for ourselves. Deft touches from Fuller and Lawrence at times. Whelan seems to get better and better with each game. I hope some thought is being given to bringing in some fresh faces for next season. We cannot afford to stand still at this level. Happy Easter, Dallas.

I thought he wasn't at his best today, seemed to get caught too deep in the centre and stand off a bit letting crosses come in easily. He does like to whooosh it a bit

A lot of goals come from Higgy's play, i know it sounds stupid but the hoofs he makes often leads to corners, throw ins and goals from direct play, most recently, the WBA Beattie goal came from Higgy hoofing it towards Etherington . Good player Higgy, we can get a fantastic attacking full back who's as good as him defensively when we're in europe.

he is a good defender dont get me wrong, but he gives the ball away far to cheaply by just hoofing the ball eny where.

Higgy has never let us down this season. He is a good solid defender. I think higgys biggest 'hoof' of the season was today! I didnt think it was coming back!

Good performance from all the defence today , I think Higgy's hoof is a tactic to get Fuller in a 1 on 1 situation.
