Sunderland, Boro and Hull have all got tasty run ins. I don't mean this in a negative way but a bunch of solid draws might well do for us now we've got 36pts on the board? Don't fancy next week (think it's a Sam Allardyce thing), but a point against Fulham and West Ham, then maybe draw at Hull and beat Wigan and that's 42 pts. Newcastle and Boro have then got to get 13 pts out of 18 to get past us?

Was looking forward of Stoke really proving a point and putting a nail in Newcastle's coffin!
They looked the home team at times. Can we have abit more open play and stop these 'rugby union' tactics......
Sorry lads I found this game wank....And if someone says its about results I will look out for the result on ceefax then....

It was a better point for us than it was for Newcastle, that's for sure.

Spot on, yes it was a little gutting losing the 2 points but before the game i think most people would have taken a point. I think we can win next week and put ourselves just a couple of points from safety.

disappointing we didnt hold on or get a 2nd goal.... bt it was a good point and a win next week against Blackburn should see us safe !!!

Looking at the results of all the teams aroundus, and our point begins to look pretty good. FFS, we've played Newcastle Utd twice, and drawn twice. They're no great shakes, but who would have bet on it at the start of the season? Tke into account all our other results, and it help you to realize quite how good we actually have been so far.

Its the other results that have cheered me today more than our draw.
If anything, we are in a stronger position tonight than we were this morning.
