Even though we played far too defensively in the second half and ultimately conceeded a goal to Lewis Carroll ... Something struck me...the fact that a club such as Newcastle United (a more than established PL club) celebrated 1 point at the Britannia. I know they are in a relegation dogfight, but is this the sign of things to come in future Premier League seasons? I sure as hell hope so, because we have shown how far a decent home form can take you in the Premier League. Just made me think how far we have come in a short space of time....and I bloody love it! GOARRRN YOU POTTERS!

amen to that! Was listening at work & many young stokies were extremely disappointed by the draw....gave them a harsh lecture on exactly how far we've come! I'm just enjoying the ride.....

The really good thing is - if/when we stay up, there won't be many sides looking forward to coming to the Brit next season. I can see it being just like the good old days when even the top sides looked upon a trip to The Victoria Ground as a fixture to get out of the way.

At the game I was thinking back to the 0-0 draw with Newcastle in the FA Cup last season, that day we played out of our boots and I wasn't the only incredibly proud Stokie. Today we didn't just live with them but were clearly the better side and played some quality stuff too - ok it was only another draw in the end but that's how far we've come.

a draw was not good enough for them, on reflection am happy Im happy too ;D I can remember standing on the away end at Exeter watching Alan Balls crap. We`ve come a long, long way since then. Would have been nice to get three points I know, but were 13th in the best league in the world and another point gained towards safety !! Happy days ;D

I've seen the best the 70's etc. fall and then the rise from the crap, it's just frustrating to see us blow a lead in a game we we should have won

Should Pin This to get the moaners out of our club ! always part timers who wont understand this zzzzz, part timers, I was there when there was 6,000 against Lewes in the FA cup, 4,500 against Norwich in the old division 1, Luton and Pompey away in the Simod cup etc. etc. etc. same as many on here, we have a right for freedom of speech which means we can query the decisions of the person's wages we pay
