Is it me or do our players not applaud the crowd at the end of the game as they used to.
Sometimes I think they should show their appreciate our great support a bit more.
At the end of a tight game when we are going mental in the Boothen after getting another 3 points, most of the players just make their way to the tunnel.
I saw Hamburg's players applauding the crowd at the end of their defeat of Man City last night and that's what our players should be doing.
Just a little point, I am not a moaner!

I thought it seemed a bit better these days. Maybe it's the usual 4 or 5 - Abdy, Higgy, Lennie, Ryan, Tommy etc?

I actually agree with the original poster. They don't seem as appreciative to me as they did last season. And usually its only Sorro and Wilko that put much effort into it.

Abdy ran to the away fans last week swinging his arms and gee-ing the crowd up which sparked a rendition of Abdoulaye, my Lord! As well as the fact that they all give us verbal credit in interviews. If they grab the points for us, they can give us the V's for all i care

i think some token gestures - such as throwing their shirts in the crowd, verbally commending the fans and putting their bodies on the line for the cause of keeping us in the prem will be a good start...oh, wait. ;D

They do clap just not right in front of the Boothen, I think you're being very harsh.

More or less every single one of them applaud the fans after matches, both home and away, just not all in a line at the very same time.
Stupid post.

They do show their appreciation after every game and I am absolutely convinced that they do recognise the efforts we put in to inspire them and to intimidate the opposition. When we are at our best they respond and are at their best. We can influence results, the players DO appreciate that.

I love Soro at the end of the match. I'm always keen to see his celebrations.
I watched the end of the Reading/Sheffield United game just now though, and I did think the Sheffield United players were a bit stingy with their appreciation of the travelling support. They'd made a long journey down at a time when a lot of people would prefer to be with their families and after a result of that magnitude you'd expect to see a bit more than the perfunctory clapping from the halfway line that they did.

Trainstobrazil.............Hamburg players go to the home end at the end of all matches, in fact at away matches as well!! ha ha, If Hamburg win the players sit down and the fans sing them a song as a way of saying thank you, if you get chance go onto YouTube and type in HSV UFFTA and you will see what I am on about. And from what I,ve seen over here our players thank the fans at the end of every match!!
