I have suddenly started to feel very wary about the 'Castle game, i have visions of the Portsmouth game where both teams were very, very nervy due to both our positions. Will TP (hopefully not) revert to a bit of caution (basically making sure we do not lose) or will we go for it from the off? I just hope my wariness is ill-founded!!!!!!!

I know how you feel mate. When the game gets near you end up thinking of all the things that can go wrong. It's where we have to rely on our players to prepare thoroughly and be into it.

Like Premierpotters says we have to get at them from the off. They have no confidence but if we allow them to settle it'll grow AND they do have players who can hurt us.

a goal from an early set piece and panic will set in for them, attack straight from the off and get them on the back foot.

If the team is any different to the one put out against Brom not withstanding injuries then something is very very wrong.

Personally I think we have to put them under the cosh early doors. If we can score in the first 15 mins I reckon we will see their heads go down.

They have to attack us, so ethers, beats, fuller and liam will all play to give us the pace to hit em on the break

They can only attack us if we give the ball away too frequently. The onus is on them, all we have to do (I know it's not that simple) is not give the ball away cheaply in the first and second phases and hit them where it fucking hurts early doors. They have key players out and regardless of what Shearer says I don't think they have the players who really want a good scrap.

They have the 'Shearer factor' though and I'm cowering. Was reading a Toon site earlier and they're talking of winning at Stoke and Spurs etc??? A team that has won 6 games all season are now suddenly to be feared.
Won't be easy but a draw not the end of the world.

A draw would suffice JR. Wouldn't be much use to Newcastle.

I am not feeling to bad really...the win against the Baggies has really allowed the pressure to leak a little. I can guarantee that those Newcastle players will be under a hell of a lot more pressure than our lads.

I am worried and fully expecting a cagey and nervous affair in the 1st half, but i believe that if the crowd can keep roaring them l(like we have done so well this season) on then we win win eventually, or at least get a draw which is not a bad result

one goal on 60 mins scrappy affair and we will hold out. we all know pulis loves his defensiveness and im worried that he will see it as one not to loose as oposed to one we need to win.

Surely they will be more nervous than us.I havent rated them all season and still dont .They are going down and we will send them on their merry way.

i fear a midfield along the lines of liam-diao-faye-delap
has to be the team that played brazil and get at them from the kick off
