If we win we need TV cameras to find blarting Geordies. Their blarting is quality. Middlesboroughs fans almost started when we beat them. If we beat Newcastle on saturday they might start to blart. Nobody blarts as well as Geordies I assure you! Often it's a tear down the cheek but with Geordies you get snot and everything!

Of course the cameras might be trained on blarting Stokies at the end of the game, Jo. Be good for you as you will be able to spot Stokies in the Boothen you recognise! ;D

There will be one laughing Geordie on Saturday regardless of what happens.
Step forward Mr Shearer.
Laughing all the way to the bank.

I must confess that I do yes. If I was a really nice person I wouldn't get such pleasure rom the unhappiness of others...especially when it's a grief I've experienced BUT I have flaws.
I remember when Japan failed to qualify for the 94 WC and the camera did a close up on a female supporter blarting deeply and she was making a wailing noise. I've still got it on video. If ever I'm a bit down I put it on to cheer myself up a bit.

I'm with Joe on this. I think if the Geordies do succumb then they will open up a whole new level of blarting. The great thing is that we will be able to watch it in all it's glory for the first time in High Definition.
Can't wait!

I blarted when the final whistle went against Leicester. That was a happy blart because we'd achieved something good. When Sutton knocked Coventry out of the FA Cup the camera got a close up of a Sutton supporter blarting and that was nice. The supporter in question was winning goalscorer Matthew Hanlon's sister by the way. ANYWAY ,the funny blart is when something bad happens and the camera catches it and does a close up.
The whole camera on fans blarting thing didn't really get going until 1996 when the Geordies blew the title. There was the odd one but it certainly wasn't the phenomonon it is now. The play offs are good for it.
