So what about all those people claiming that we didn't pay anything remotely like 5.5 million for Kitson and that a huge amount of that figure was only to be paid depending on appearances/goals/our premiership survival?

Assuming they are promoted but he does fuck all for them, there's no chance they could renege on the deal like Newcastle alleged that we did with Ameobi is there?

So what about all those people claiming that we didn't pay anything remotely like 5.5 million for Kitson and that a huge amount of that figure was only to be paid depending on appearances/goals/our premiership survival? because this fee, just like the one we paid, almost certainly contains lots of clauses (and probably the £500K estimated loan fee)

no the £4.8m fee is separate to the £500k loan fee
we didnt pay £5.5m & Reading wont be paying £4.8m
we would have paid £5.5m if he had played x number of games & scored x number of goals over x amount of time (!).
these figures are 'headline' figures & although not b/s they are misleading.
effectively if Reading go up we will have lost less than £500k.

I didn't want them to get up, but I certainly do now. It would be almost worth £700,000 for keeping Ricci on his toes for a few months.
