Give them chance, they have only just cashed in their Giros Don't worry about them filling their section, they are a massive, massive club! They will bring seas of people from the north east, Stoke will have to open the gates and let them all in, because Trentham Lakes cannot hold that many people! Infact, I anticipate a warning on Radio Stoke on Saturday morning, to tell Stoke fans to stay away from the area, as the ground is already full of half jocks! Lets hope they manage to fill in the corners of the ground intime for their visit!!! ;D Infact, Newcastle are almost as big as Sunderland!

It's a git of a journey -and our following up there was easily our smallest of the season, so people in glass houses...- but, without slagging them off for the sake of it (their support's still great, to be fair), their numbers have dwindled substantially over the past deacde or so.
I've seen them play at places like Brum in recent times and they haven't sold out their end. At Coventry this season, there were swathes of empty seats. Yet in 1995, they brought 6,000 to Stoke for a relatively meaningless League Cup tie and could have sold out away allocations the length and breadth of the country many times over.

Lets go easy on them eh. As Micky Quinn says, no ones been through the ringer like Newcastle fans these past few years what with Champions League football, 100s of millions of pounds spent on players and a cup final. We don't know about bad times.
