Everyone's at it now. Seems like the media attention given to Rory this season as lead to more and more teams giving it a go. Over the last few weeks I've seen loads of goals on SSN come from throws. Next thing you know - all the teams will be singing their renditions of 'Oh When The Reds' really loud and slow, especially after Saturday's televised game

but the thing is rory has it spot on he can throw it flat and direct it with pace most of the others are just launching it into the box and hoping unlike rory.

I have jus watched that clip of Rory kicking Wright Phillips and he does actually knock him back by a few inches!
But yes, everyone is chucking it long nowadays.
Watching Brum and Wolves on Monday as well and it seems that the Championship teams are taking the physical approach and having target men with the big hoof forward - Long may it continue

Its true that everyone with a long throw is now linked to Rory Delap in some way. Its also funny though, that everyone is using them, yet we are ridiculed by the lazy journals for scoring from them.
