Salif is 32.
I think Olofinjana will go, Kitson will go, Griffin / Soares maybe.
Pericard will run out of contract too.

He's out of contract at the end of this seaosn isn't he?
He signed for 18 months last january...surely if he were stopping he'd have been offered new terms?

Oli Kitson Griff Vince
LOAN: Soares Tonge Dicko Cort Cressy
Maybe if we buy some new competition for players then I can see, out of that list maybe Soares, Dicko, Tonge, Cort and Cresswell going out on a long loan, I just cannot see TP selling Cressy, he's too much of a fan.
Kitson will plod along back to the Madejski, regardless of how Reading do this season, Oli will probably be shipped out to a Championship side, should we bring in another centre midfielder. I think Griff is done here now. He cannot dislodge Wilko out of the team and even Kelly is ahead of him now, a free transfer probably and then theres Vince...... say no more.

Might be controversial but I wouldn't miss Dicko to be honest.

rob,
I think Dicko might go as well mate, especially if Larry of Leeds offers something like £400,000 for him.

Larry seems to have a fondness for our Dicko. Would be sad to see him go as the lad is 120% Stokie, but as we all know, in the Premier League, there is no room for sentiment.

I expect Diao (as he's still very much part of our plans), Olofinjana (as he's a reasonable squad player and it's a squad game) and Soares (as he was always one for the future) will all stay.
I wouldn't mind seeing the following go:
Cort - Not getting a look in and I slightly prefer Sonko Cresswell - Not good enough for the Prem and we have enough good players in his position Griffin - That spot is Wilko's for a while now, with Davies as first choice cover, as well as Kelly if we sign him Pericard - Obviously Tonge - Not really necessary, I wouldn't be surprised if he went back to Sheffield United, especially if they get up. Kitson - Simply awful for us, can't wait to see the back of him, just hope we can recoup a bit of the money we spent on him.
I expect we'll add at least one central midfielder, which should shake things up a bit.

Unless we spend another small fortune I can see us letting go that many players. Especially when we have the likes of Davies and Kelly who are under performing, we would want them to have to fight for their place, not just make em second string because we are short.

Diao Cresswell Griffin Kitson Olofinjana Pericard Tonge Dicko (if he wants first team football)
It might be difficult to off load Cresswell and Griffin becasue they're both on pretty hefty contracts with some time to run on them, but I certainly wouldn't want/expect either of them to be anywhere near our bench next season.
I'd probably send Davies and Soares out on loan for 12 months and see how they progress and I wouldn't be too bothered if Sonko and Cort were kept as back up for central defence.

It could be quite a long list, depending on what new players TP is able to bring in:
Loanees returning to their clubs: Kelly and Camara Retirement: Matteo and possibly Salif Diao Released: Pericard For sale: Griffin, either Cort or Sonko, Olofinjana, Tonge, Cresswell, Kitson

RAF, I'm interested as to why you'd think that. Have you had a tip-off that he's been liked with a move or are you just speculating?
He's got a year left on his contract, TP and all of us love him and by all accounts he loves Stoke, so why would he leave? He's unlikely to find anywhere else wherehe fits the style of play so well either.

If Mama leaves, surely we'll have to sign another two top quality strikers that Pulis one-hundred per cent trusts. I doubt that will happen.

I didn't say I wanted him to go, or that he wasn't any good. I just happen to think if we stay up Pulis will get at least two more strikers in. At the moment Mama isn't first choice, so with 2 more strikers in I reckon he could be on his way. Pure speculation on my behalf, probably totally wrong, but just because he loves us, it doesn't mean shit when push comes to shove. Griff found out what it was like to be a Pulis favourite, then all of a sudden, dropped.

The last thing we need to do is to sell half our squad.. Soares is 22 and will not be sold as he is a great prospect.

I can't see Mama going anywhere to tell you the truth.
The manager loves him, the fans love him and he loves it here.
He'll be more than happy to be on the bench at Stoke rather than starting in the Championship at a club where it might not work out for him.
A move wouldn't make any sense at all to me.

I'd keep Soares for another 12 months and see how he develops, but Rob is right, it's not like we're going to let players go and not bring new (and hopefully better) ones in is it?

He might not even make the bench though. If he is half the bloke I think he is , he will be wanting a game every week not sat on the bench. Like I say if we sign 2 decent strikers, I reckon he's gone.
