Just looking back at the interview I did for the Fans Forum with the Middlesbrough fanzine editor after we lost at The Riverside early this season
We were optimistic going into the season to be honest our only anxieties are at the back with young inexperienced goalkeepers. We like the brand of football that we are trying to serve up each week, loads of pace, skill and interchanging positions. Obviously we must start scoring more goals. That will be absolutely key to our development. But all in all we are very happy at this young, quick, fit side that Gareth Southgate has fashioned. It's a brave move and one that we are right behind.

Interview him again now: -
“We’re sick and tired of Southgate the cunt’. The shyte football being churned out is woeful. Time to get fucking rid. Isn’t Dennis Wise now available?”

i was thinking about this when we beat them; can anyone else remember an interview, at the start of the season, given by (excuse my ignorance) some trainer or Phisio at boro (had a stoke connection, i seem to recall) stating that a non - european finish would be seen as a disapointment and could even push Arsesmell for 4th place? How wrong they were. Again, highlights, what a great league it has been this season.

Oh come on Chris.
"Well, if you'd seen us in the first two games when we beat Tottenham comfortably and should have got a point at Liverpool, you'd know why I say that.

I'm pretty sure, if memory serves, that the Oatie predicted Boro would finsih in the top 8 as well in their pre-season review thingy.
