having just read a few posts on the newcastles mess boards, these geordies are so full of themselves and most think were shit and our fans are women beaters, with their attitude and given the kick offs 5.30, so most will be here at 1ish drinking in the pubs and getting louder and louder as the afternoon goes on im sure at some stage their will be trouble somewhere in stoke or even the power leauge, as i remember in there last year 20 or so goerdies pissed up were very loud and aggresive towards stoke fans and thats not even taking in account the shearer factor, hearing them shout his name every 5 mins i think a few stoke fans might get upset about it.

Hope it doesn't, bit wouldn't be surprised if they did.
I remember them causing "a few problems" when we played them at The Vic in the mid-nineties, I've hated them ever since.

they are generally a gobby bunch of pricks, so fully expect pockets of trouble Satdee. They, by the way are the women beaters, (and while they're at it, kids) - they don't discriminate. All day drinking + 'up for it' home fans + Geordie wankers = bother

The geordies in the power league for the FA cup were generally a good bunch, there was a sing off, one of theres got a bit too aggressive, the coppers came in, took him out, and as I recall not ONE of his mates tried to stop them or followed him outside . i was sat less than 6ft away chatting to a geordie fan at the time, he just muttered "fucking kids"

They have a habit of travelling very well.
There is a bit of animosity with the Geordies and us. I have a good mate here in oz who is mad NUFC, and some of his like don't like us too much.
Who cares ?
Stoke 3 Newcastle Town 1 (oooh, I mean united).

can we play newcastle town instead, actually come to think about it were probably more likely to lose to them than newcastle united.

That cup game in the 90s was one of the worst games for violence I've been at, all started cause the goerdies thought they could stroll around Stoke town centre mouthing off and take the piss like they're used to at most away games, but not at Stoke eh lads, never have I seen so many Stoke up for it, turning over their mini buses, setting fire to one, any geordie got hit, saw mobs of 50-100 Stoke on every corner going for em.
They've supposedly bought 30 tickets in the home end in the south stand, so we'll see, no doubt they will try and turn up as Stoke went up to theirs for that pre arranged meet which went wrong lol

Yep that game in the 90s was fucking mental! I remember the being numerous loud mouthed Toon pricks in the Boothen End thinking they were untouchable - they didn't last long. Was utterly packed in the Boothen - unfortunately me and my mate ended up by one of the railing barriers getting crushed!

A friend of the family worked on the catering (Stadia Catering?) stand in the Stoke End that night. He said they ran out of napkins before kick off as all the Geordies were patching themselves up!

Be careful with this lot, lads. They are VERY, VERY tough. I've seen one of them on tele, without his shirt on at one game. You can't get much tougher than that, can you? Oh, and they say things like , 'Why aye man, ' and such like.
