Got a mate who is a Castle fan and coming up for the game next weekend asked me about parking but TBH im not to sure as i always walk to the ground.
Told him to check with Newcastle whether he can park on the south stand car park or get there early and try Power League.

I will advise him of one thing if he parks on the South Car Park - be prepared for a long wait after the game.
On Saturday we walked away from where we were parked to go down the scenic alleyway set up for us away fans by WBA. When we reached the car we had something to eat and then we set off home.
Unbelievably, we were still back in Longton quicker than after a home game.
I also noticed that the police had closed roads around The Hawthorns. We are told that SMW can't be made one way after home games - what a whopper of a lie and not a subtle lie but a huge, obvious lie.

They have to get the agreement of all the businesses down there, am pretty sure SMW is a private road, not a public highway, hence why the police can't just make it one way

Dave, it was a private road, but when the gates were removed it was adopted and so is now the property of Her Majesty and consequently Her Majesty's Police can decide how it operates.
I think the truth is that they were struggling to get businesses onto Trentham Lakes and some numpty at the council promised them that they would have free access at all times.
