Pulis selected an expansive midfield, who proceeded to let Jonathan Greening and Co play in front of them before showing how it should be done by passing the ball through their opponents; Glenn Whelan was the best footballer on the pitch. Stoke did not just beat West Brom, they played better football. www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/article6041146.ece ignore the glaring error in first paragraph I will forgive them a hell of alot for that quote

There followed a bizarre goal celebration that goes some way to explaining the unity that is keeping Stoke on line to stay up. Liam Lawrence, who fell to the ground after Beattie pretended to shoot him, revealed that the Stoke players play Xbox games together on the internet. “It’s Gears of War 2,” the winger explained. “It’s good fun, something to do when you have to stay in at nighttime and be good. It sounds stupid but we communicate like we do on the pitch. You can see the camaraderie. We’re good friends so we stick together.”
We know what the celebration was about now! ;D
