What about Sheff Utd? Surely they deserve to come up after what happened to them with the Tevez saga?

You are a LOT biger than us are you? Dont chat utter bollox. Yes at the moment you are bigger. What you dont realise is we have a brand new 30,000 seater stadium on the way, that and the fact Bristol has a much bigger potential for fans than stoke (there isnt a prem side in 70 miles of Bristol) than i think that shows your not that far ahead of us. Yor average attendences in the championship were what 17/18k? Our avergage is 17k so again that shows when we are at the same level you are no bigger. The only thing in your favour is top flight football, but as we all knoww ere does histoy get you? Look at Leeds! And by the way Stoke do play shit football, everyone up and down the country would agree. Its laughuable to watch actually, i think id see a better standard of pass and move football at Bristol city Academy u16s than your first team. ''jog on'' haha wanker! Fuck you. Table doesn't lie.

I don't really think Bristol are one of the top 5 sides in the division - cardiff, burnley, reading brum, wolves and even swansea are better sides from what i've seen of this season, can't really comment on sheffield united.
As for the "I wouldn't pay to watch that shit" crowd - well to me it seems you do already. I seem to remember BCFC visiting the Britannia last season with a battering ram frontline of dele adebola and darren byfield. That's dele adebola who plays consistently up front for you to this date. The single creative player was mcindoe who was toothless on the day and Stoke absolutely dicked you for 60 minutes until a goal against the run of play. Even at Ashton Gate when we were absolutely awful and had pericard playing fresh from prison you couldn't break us down and it took a long range missile to beat us.
I'm afraid the style thing is a sanctimonious retreat to some sort of puritanical highground in lieu of any other arguements about why you'd rather be a championship side managed by johnson than a premier league side managed by Pulis - the baggies come out with the same shit but it doesn't really wash.
As for the "big club" debates, I find them rather pointless. History plays a part in sport and affords us all some perspective, but surely the most important thing is the present state of a side, not it's former glories.

We beat them hands down on both counts then banksy! We might not have the greatest history in the world but it is a whole lot more illustrious than theirs! In fact if truth be told they have only been going since 1982 because that is when they collapsed the old club, simply wrote off the debts and formed another club the next day! BM

I first saw Bristol City at the Vic around 1980, it was their first year in the top flight and they needed a result to have a chance of staying up.The club paid for their supporters to travel....they brought less than 1000. 1.0 to the Potters if I remember right. Bristol City a big club? my ar*e

I hate the wurzel straw chomping nuggets with a passion, delusions of granduer, crap support for the size of the city, and they DO HATE us ever since that fa cup game at their place in the mid 90s when a load of Stoke hooligans kicked off on the pitch at half time, there's been plenty of trouble at their ever since.
I rate them in the West Brom mode, mouthy must do better against Stoke types, on and off the pitch arfff.

By the way surely Wolves, Brum and Cardiff coming up is the best for all Stoke fans, games with a needle is what we want.

I have adopted Brizzle City as my second club - mainly to provide a balanced view to the hatred towards them by Bristol Mick and other Stokies. ;D

Where did this Bristol City love in come from??!!
Personally I couldn't give a flying fuck about Bristol City. That place has got to be place of origin for all chavs, and I live in Newcastle upon Tyne FFS!!! (no offense to the bristol stokies, its a nice place, but with an inexplicable number of chavs!)!
In terms of promotion from the CCC, the only thing I'm bothered about is the fact the Dingles look like they're coming up which is highly dissapointing, and I would truly love it if they completely fucked it up at the last hurdle, only to lose in the play offs! Oh the joy!!!
