Dunno if anyone's mentioned it before but with the Welsh national side looking up shit creek (and Toshack unlikely to last much longer),would our Tone be interested in the job. He'll deffo get a mention as a replacement.

From a TP perspective, he probably couldn't pick a better time to leave!
Has he not only guided his new adopted team into the Premier League, he is hopefully, and looking like he is going to lead them to a 'smashing' debut season.
He leaves on the best terms possible, as the most popular manager EVER, before the inevitable second season syndrome kicks in (where we will probably lose twice as many home matches.)
Just a thought!

when did Coates die ???
Because it'll only be then that this partnership dissolves, and that works both ways...people can scream and shout for Pulis' head and we lose every game, but whilst Coates remains Chairman, Pulis will remain manager

I think he likes the day to day running of club management.

I know he is a proud Welshman and would be flattered if the job was offered, but he is onto a hiding with that job. He loves the day to day involvement and in the best league in the world and with a chairman that loves him.
No chance,Stoke before Wales

said this myself the other day.
However, the Wales job is surely a no win scenario. They simply don't have the talent to qualify for a major tournament
oh, and TP can't just load the team with big black forwards ;D

i dont think he would yet, imo TP will be rubbing his hands at the thought of the money he's going to have to strenghen this Stoke City team at the end of this season, he'll want to see just how far he can take this club with PC as his Allie. i'm sure there will be players that we couldn't afford before or players that just would not come to an untried premiership outfit that we will be able to get in the summer, he'll be rubbing his hands at the quality of player that he hould be able to bring in this summer. Why would he want to leave, he said he was in it fo the long haul and that his aim is to establish us as a premiership outfit. Besides, when your managing a growing club in the best league in the world what could be better? I'm sure that he'll want to pit his witts against premiership teams and managers for another few years before he thinks of international management, what better stage is there to show people what you can do as a manager tha the premiership?,,, at the end of the day wales are going to win nothing in the forseeable future no matter who is in charge. TP will be looking to make SCFC into an established top 10 club and he'll beeive that he can do it with the extra revenue he is going to get to strengthen, ANYBODY currently in a important role at the club I.E) Players or managerial staff would be nutcases to want a move away at this current time. IMO TP is going nowhere in the forseeable future

I dont because there is a certain type of player that tone likes.. and I dont think the welsh have them. He wont be able to accomplish anything with the squad they have.

Only an idiot would walk away from the miracle he's performed at Stoke for the Welsh job.
My main concern is if a bigger more established Prem team came in for him but I don't think he has a sexy enough image for most of them so hopefully he can carry on the year on year improvements he keeps making at Stoke

Crazy talk fella. There is no way TP would go and manage such a young side....it would be chaos. ;D

i cant see it happening for a few years yet personally
.....he has such a good relationship with coates that he wouldnt get that with the welsh FA and he will get more money to spend to try and firmly establish stoke in the premiership as I believe he really does care about the club
the welsh players are all too small as well, so he would have to recreate a new style for them to work
