That is all it could take. Two more wins, two more unbelievable atmospheres, two more games where the lads sweat absolute bucketloads for the shirt.
Make no mistake: be you a PHW or a rimmer. Be you a supporter of Old Stokie length or a JCL. It matters not.
We truly have a football club to be proud of. I fully expected us to be run ragged this season at times. The fact that we haven't (at home especially) would deem it fit and worthy for the people of our fair city to start building some statues in honour of our striped heroes. I'll start on the Ab FAye one right f****** now!
We are the soul and everything that is right and just about the beautiful game. quite delicious throwback to how teams used to get supported. A club where we loved to be hated. A club that many have started to secretly admire for our chin-tucked-into-collar-fear-noone attitude.
We, the supporters, really do owe our fantastic players our full support from the first whistle to last over these next 7 games. As I type this (and yes, I'm trolleyed) my heart is bursting out of my chest with pride. It's a reat night to be a Stokie!
We are Stoke. We are noones pushovers. We won't go away. Two weeks today we could even be safe! We are one of the few supports in this country who CAN make a difference to the scoreline.
I fully expect next Sundays papers to be full of praise for our exploits from the day before.
Who are the people?

both mate tbh.
Leffe Brun (got bought 2 of those mega-bottles by mum in law) and Chimay is simply nectar. Finsihed those and got stuck into bottle of Mrs' Rose wine after she went bed at 10pm.
I am a cheap date mate, doesn't take many!

Once went to a beer festival in Mons.If you can find it over here, try a beer called Tongerlo. Last time I was there I tried a can of Gordon's Platinum-12 %,lethal to say the least!

Superb post Bunny - sums it up. I really cannot wait to give Mr Shearer a nice warm welcome to the Brit and show those Geordies how it's really done.
As for the Belgian beers - you can't beat Orval or a nice Carmelite Triple, IMO.

Good post mate.
The Geordies, for all our reservations about their 'Big Club' attitude, WILL come and get behind their team and they will 'take us on' in the support stakes.
They don't know what they are in for though!
We need to be 100% with our heroes from start to finish (regardless of how the game goes) and to nulify the lift that their fans aim to give their team. They are about to see at first hand what REAL long suffering and passionate supporters are all about.
Bring it on!

Good post Bunny. If any PHW or Rimmer isn't celebrating this fine win and probable survival without rancour then they'e more concerned with their egos than they are about supporting our great club. That was one the most important games in our history...and we won the fucker! I'm in 7th heaven and I'd even go as far as kissing Pulis's ringpiece after that victory. Goooaaarrrrnnn Stoke! OS.
