"Newcastle are away at Stoke next week...that's winnable!"
What planet is he on? Is he taking advice from Lawrenson who said Albion would beat us 2-1 today?

sometimes we shouldnt take things to heart.
Of course newcastle playing stoke is a winnable game for them, sometimes we need to take the stoke glasses off. We are one of the smaller prem clubs and EVREY team we play they think this is "winnable"
maybe not WBA lol

bollocks to him! another person to prove wrong then + hes only saying that cause shearer is the manager this time last week he would of been saying they had no chance winning against us, how time changes how can castle loose at home to chelsea then think they can come to the brit aka 'the bear pit' and win when only the shit chelsea and everton have won all season they really are more deluded than what i thought lets fuck the geordie twats!!

Never once praised Stoke as he kept reminding everyone of those terrible mistakes by West Bromwich Albion. Danny Higginbothom smacks it down the flanks and all you hear from Hansen is 'you dont score from there, you dont score from there'. In the nicest possible sense - 'Fuck off Hansen you dick'. Lawrences sniggering at the start of the analysis was that of aman who knew he had got it wrong again. To save face he will still predict a Stoke loss.
WELL FUCK THE LOT OF E'M, AND I WANT POXXXXXXXY LITTLE STOKE 'in their eyes anyway' GETTING AMONGST THEM FOR MANY OF SEASON.

A few MOTD observations:
- Anyone see Mowbrays face during the 'Ricardo Fuller' chant? ;D. Absolute class, get it framed and sell it in the club shop. - The length of the highlights was pretty piss poor. - Brilliant BT interview. - Only stoke mention was at the end with the league table up, and blackburn were included in that mention. Couldn't give two flying fooks however. - How the hell didn't Whelan's goal make a contender for goal of the month
That is all.

If you look at their fixtures you would identify us as a winnable one imo. Just as we identify them as a winnable one too!
I can't be doing with fat gormless tarts like Micky Quimm calling us a pub team and I hope Super Tony Pulis uses his outburst to fire our players up next week. But as for what Hansen said, I agree it is winnable (they just won't win it though!)

the only 2 things that matter today:
we win and the league table
anything else is conjecture.
Complacency is our enemy. Always has been. Let's pray for all to predict a Geordie win and then let us watch us send the Geordies down this time next week including hiding-to-nowt-no-lose-situation-media-whore-Shearer.
England hero ffs? "If the FA ban me for kicking Lennon's head off I'll scweem and scweem and scweeem and not play again etc".
The bloke is a f***** weapon and I would love us to win and send those tw@s down next Saturday.

Was it just me who thought the MoTD highlights were heavily edited in favor of West Brom ? maybe i'm paranoid but they showed a awful lot of their attacks and it seemed they clipped ours out, I know they like to shape a kind of story line by editing but I thought they went to far, it seemed like they were all over us, and that definitely wasn't the case, I could be wrong but i'm sure they edited out that nice move where Etherington put his shot wide.

Very winnable if you compare the cost of their squad to ours.
Not a chance in hell,..... if it comes down to ARRD WORK and team spirit tho'...
You forgot to mention this Joe boy.

I know all that ferfuxache. BUT when they look at their fixtures they would regard next week as a winnable game unlike say the Chelsea game when they never had a cat in hells chance.
Looking at Owen during the bits of that game I saw he doesn't look at all happy. In fact he's visibly pissed off.

Sorry, tazi, but you really are getting paranoid.
If the full back is trapped deep in his own half, facing his own goal, out near the touchline and one pass later a goal is scored, I think Hansen has every right to grumble about the defending.
Lets,s be honest about it, the WBA defending for both goals was Sunday League (Apologies to any Sunday League players out there)

This is the media. The story goes...
Alan Shearer takes over his home-town club and saves them from relegation. He goes on to win the league and conquer Europe with Newcastle. In the meantime, Capello's England get knocked out of the World Cup at the quarter final stage to Argentina / Germany on penalties. Shearer takes over the national team and guides them to world cup victory in 2014, winning the European Championship on the way.
In TV land this is the way it has to happen. It is unthinkable to a media 'dahling' like Hansen that such a story should be laid to waste at the hands of Stoke.

Hansen didn't even say he thought they'd win. I doubt he does think they'll win. What on earth has anyone got against him. He's one of the few that has 'spoken up' for us and particularly our manager and fans this season.
This is stupid!!
