what a bit of a conundrum tomorrow's match is. while Stoke have been WBA's bogey side for , well, seemingly ever, a whole set of new circumstances come up to make it a different game. the position of the 2 teams in the league, the need for both teams to win, Stoke's record on the road and all that compounded by the bogey team thing !! Will Pulis do his usual defend with 9 ? will he be too scared of losing he will defend to the death ? will the confidence of being their bogey team make him use "home" tactics and go all out for the first road win of the season ?? all things to ponder on the next "biggest game of the season" !!
personally, i would go for the confidence (not over confidence however) of what they have done to them in the past and treat it as a home game and go get 'em !! ;D

I have the horrible feeling we will see pretty much the usual away set-up for the first half at least.
Hope I'm wrong though!!

Pulis knows they will rely on putting it on the deck in midfield so don't be surprised to see a packed midfield and Higgy lumping it forward at every chance. Sound familiar?? The difference with Brazil is that they don't have the quality to punish us if we try to stifle them, whereas most other clubs do. I can see a defensive setup first half, get to 60 mins at 0-0 then try to open them up. I genuinely wish we would attack from word go but I see the same old story, but maybe with some success on this one occasion.

If we can get to half-time without conceding I'll be confident we can nick something.

Facts are, Albion are suseptible to balls played over the top.
We have to utilise this. IF we win, we become far more likely to stop up than not. This should be incentive enough for Pulis to have a crack at them. He isn't always panicky away, he wasn't last season for example. He should fancy this game.

Business as usual in every way.
We will go their and get men behind the ball, hoofing it long at every opportunity. Why would we go their and play to their strengths by getting involved in a free flowing game of football?
We will out muscle them in every area, frustrate the life out of them, and come away with at least a point.

I'm petrified of losing tomorrow! Never has a game been so definitive for us, this season. I would take a draw right now...we must NOT lose

To be honest it doesn't matter if we lose tomorrow, newcastle and blackburn and much more important games.

Losing tomorrow isn't make or break, but winning is massive - especially if Newcastle lose.

It's got "one of those games" written all over it. I can see it getting well tasty - they'll obviously try and wind up Ricky cos they know what he's like and he's had the better of them for the last few games. (Although he didn't play in November did he?) If it was a Championship game I'd be hoping for 3 points, but I think deep down I'll be pleased with a draw and no red cards? (A draw is a bad result for them).
