IF we stay up, like hopfully we all think, what do you think our aims will be for next season - do you think we could push on up the table and maybe even achieve a european spot or do you think we will be fighting for our premier league lives again.
More importantly do you think TP will change his tactics next season or will we remain with the long ball style of play - that has proved succesful over the course of the season..
UP THE POTTERS ;D

UP THE POTTERS ;D Same again minus a few players and plus and few would do me. Finish 16th and beat Man U would be great ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/ibnJJzaA6ZhfTOIekEAf.gif)

Things rarely happen that quickly. We may sign one or two players better than we've got but climbing up the Premier League is very tough indeed. Just think about the Middlesbrough game where, lets be honest, they had several players better than us AND YET thy are in a dodgier position than us. Wigan have done very well and may well finish in mid table this season but it's a close run thing between mid table and relegation. many teams that are fighting with us, or are below us, have several better players than us. It is very, very tough and we need to be realistic. it will be another season of trying to survive. Nothing wrong with that and I think that we need to accept the situation as it is and not place unrealistic expectations upon the club.
I'm not being negative, just realistic.

Europe is a long long way off at the moment! Maybe in another four or five years we can look at a top ten finish. But when you look at the money fanbase and reputation of clubs such as Villa Everton Tottenham and the regular top four we are miles off!
We can maybe pick off the Sunderlands Fulhams Blackburns and Boltons some time soon

I would take a 16th finish, the second season is just as difficult, ask Birmingham, Reading and West Brom. We as fans, must not place unrealisitic expectiations on the club. Sunderland are down in the mix and they have been in the prem a lot over the last decade. Wigan/Harry's Pompey are the template to success.

Brazil have been promoted to the Premier League three times in recent years. Even allowing for the fact that they are the sad deluded club that they are, it does tell us just how difficult it is to get a 'foot-hold' let alone move on to mid table or better.
lets just enjoy it for what it is and stick with them come what may. I know that most of us will.
