I've been having some debate with Manchester City fans over whether Given is as good as the media make out (I say no way), how much better he is than Hart (I say not a lot) and if they were right to sign him (I say no).
So, who are the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, were does Soro come in the list and if you could have one 'keeper in the world playing for Stoke who would it be?
For me the best in the Prem are:
Reina, Cech, Given, Kirkland, Friedel in that order (no Van der Sar as it's the defence that's good not him. Just look what happens if you take out Vidic.)
Soro would be somewhere in the middle
And if i could have any 'keeper it would be Casillas.

Foster has to be one of the best for me. His performance in the Carling cup was outstanding. Future England keeper for me.
Cudicini better than Sorenson? Are you kidding?

Jaaskelainen gets my vote.
Seems to pull off world class saves week in week out.
Fantastic goalie.

Being honest i Dont think Friedel and Almunia are that good for me ATM it would have to be Kirkland he is one of the reasons why wigan are where they are... Also i think Gomes will come good as well next year...

My top keeper would have to be reina .... he is top class. He makes brill saves and i dont think hes made a mistake this season .... plus he's got that attacking and accurate kick which have resulted in goals for them this season.
My top ten: Reina Cech ( best shot-stopper in prem althhough he has been flappin at a few crosses ) Given ( always puts in match winning displays ) James ( definitely englands no.1 .... great shot-stopper and commands defence very well ) Jaaskaleinen ( one of the best shot-stopper in the prem and deserves to be playing for a better club ) Van der sar ( his defence make him look good ) Schwarzer ( definitely one of the reasons fulham are where they are ) Howard ( Ace all round keeper ) Kirkland ( Very good goalkeeper and best is yet to come. ) Sorenson ( not the best shot-stopper but very commanding in the box )

Jaaskalinen is the best in the league imo, maybe Reina. Sorro would be around the middle at best, better than Carson or any of the Dull keepers.

Given is the best for me, Cech hasn't been the same keeper since his injury. Tommy is about half way.

Outside the Big Four I think Friedel, Given and Howard are excellent.
