Okay, so I rose to the bait and sent a message to one of them
Me: "Do I smell sour grapes?
I assume why you hate Stoke City so much is because we rightfully held that overpaid shite that you call "World Class Players" from Liverpool to a draw.
Then again, you're probably a Man United fan"
Him: "no i'm a lfc fan and yes, it was mainly out of frustration after the 0-0 at your place. still if its working and will keep you in the league keep at it. i'm sure theres a lot of fans of other clubs your lot have annoyed by you being so damned hard to beat. apologies for any offense, but god damn it the football is awful (as a liverpool fan i understand thats rich coming from us)"
If you're going to start a facebook group slagging something off, you should atleast stick to it!

Like i say to anyone, you play to your strengths.
If our strength is throwing a ball to the head of Mama or Ryan so be it.

Am I missing something here because I GENUINELY believe we were by far the better side at home to Liverpool. We had more, and better, chances and should have won.
I'm I being biased here?

No we didn't Sutton but, to be honest, it was a crap game between two crap sides on the day. The right result too.

I remember a dreadful day in the pouring rain at Boothferry when we all ran over to the derelict stand that had a roof. Dreadful game 0 - 0. but I also recall the FA Cup tie when you were 2 - 0 up and we came back to win 3 - 2. That was a great day but you probably wouldn't agre with that one.

That was the year I was born, so a bit young to comment. I enjoyed the 3 nil win at your place when our keeper saved 2 penalties

We tended to lose a lot of home games by the odd goal or three that season Sutton. Oh the joys of following our clubs eh?

In all honesty Sutton, the past few years must have been a fantastic experience following your club. To have dropped to the depths that you did, to come close to folding and to have worked your way all the way to the Premier League is pretty impressive and must have been a fantastic 'ride' for the fans.
These are the emotions of pure despair and joy that the glory hunters that attach themselves to the Big 4 can never understand and will never experience. It really is their loss but they don't understand that.

5554: I know it sounds a bit perverse but the pain associated with the bad years and dreadful trips to dreadful stadiums where you'll probably lose, all form memories that are stored for better days. When the days Do get better your appreciation is so much greater as a result of you experiences during the darker days.
I think that is why, after 23 years of pain, we are having the time of our lives confounding the big boys and doing our damndest to stay there. I'm loving it!

Our football is largely 'awful' ... however, it does seem to be effective. our football is`nt awful, it may not be 90 mins of free flowing pass & move football but when we do play it it`s very often effective. what we have is a team of 6-7 hard workers & grafters & then we`ve got abby, liam, ethers, whelan & ric who can play the `pass & move with the ball` game as good as any player i`ve seen this season outside of the top 6. if we take a look at WBA for instance, they try to compete technically & nobody out of the top 4 can realistically do it-thats why brazil look doomed just like derby last season but if mowbray wants to stand by his principals then he`ll go down with them. We, on the other hand battle against the opposition & compete that way. We use the passing game when we need to & actually look quite impressive at times. sorry to rant but i hate it when our own fans sell us short. ;D
