PES is more fluid on the PS3 than the XBOX? It must be extremely jerky on the 360 then because it's far from fluid on the PS3... Actua Soccer was more fluid on the Playstation 1: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JJ9d2WLxI18(The teams are more up to date too... go on Mcmanaman!) |

Been enjoying the PES demo more now I'm playing as Italy instead of Man U, not so bad now. |

But seriously.. if you haven't noticed but since both games have been out, there's hardly been any PES vs Fifa debates, mainly due to everyone just getting on with playing the game. I suggest you do the same instead of attempting to instigate arguments that have already gone on |

I just don't understand the huge fascination behind one man's opinion on several sites that's all. Surely the biggest opinion of all about a game is your own? The whole comparison thing is tiresome and boring, especially when it's a vain attempt to say that one game is better than the other. I wonder why it's only the PES fans that are moaning about this thread... I'm a PES fan but brought Fifa 09 as PES hasn't changed and improved itself at all. But Jesus give it a rest everyone knows that you prefer PES over Fifa. I prefer to have no onions on hotdogs but i'm not going keep banging on about it and moan at people who prefer onions i'm sure no-one gives a shit just like no-one gives a shit what game you prefer. |

Ben - Sadly for old Nick, he is devoid of any kind of humour or life in fact and therefore attempts to drag the same old shit up by creating pointless threads like this. It's not that Fifa isn't delivering either, I reckon it's Winston just prefers a man in his life/bed/crawling up his arse and Nick can't deliver that sort of action to our old mate Winston. If anything, Winston is the biggest victim out of all this Pretty much ditto what Smapples said as well. Sums up my thoughts and feelings in one post Trend - This Is Football was quite good. Before Pes09 and fifa 09 I hadnt had either of them from ISS on the ps2 and fifa 98 (world cup).
Its clear which has moved on and which is still in the dark ages. I didnt care for PES one bit, where as I think fifa is much more strategic, much more enjoyable.
End of the day, if you want a knock about, pes is there, its arcady style of play, which it has been since iss on the snes. Fifa is more realistic (which is what I was after). Thats the differences.
I wouldnt trust a game reviewer from somewhere like cvg or ign these days, their reviews are bollocks, as I found when I played resi5 (which is fantastic), and unfortunatly farcry 2 (which is the biggest load of hyped shit I've ever come across)
