I noticed this also! on 5Live during the Wigan Hull game, someone attempted it, i think it was Robbie Savage who said it was 'no Rory Delap'. ;D

A few years back, much to the dismay, nay, the HORROR of the assembled masses at the Brit, TP introduced "everyone back for corners" defending. Not too long after that, almost everyone else (including José's Chelski) was at it. He's a tactical pioneer is our Tone!
