As it seems to be comment on various members of the media slagging off Stoke season, I began to think about why they have had a go at us more in the last few days than previously.
I've come to think it's because now it seems most likely we'll stay up, often at the expense of their teams (Quinn) they can't take it. When it looked like we were going down, they were happy to accept our tactics, now it looks like their more effective than those of several established Premier League teams, they can't take them. It's a positive for us.
All the antipathy towards us is born out of fear and jealousy. I actually read one comment today from a Newcastle blog site saying when Stoke came to St. James's Park, we were the worst away side he's ever seen. Fook me, how bad does that make them, as we played them off the park second half.
The negative comments should just make us all the more determined to stay up.
I'd like to see how many of them would make those comments to Abdoulaye's face!
