Which players do you see leaving us in the summer? Ive just been through the squad and think the following list will go: Cresswell Griffin Soares Kitson Cort Dickinson Pericard - probably only on loan Simonsen I think Olofinjana and Tonge might stay for one more season as depth, and hopefully when fully fit Davies can start competeing for places. Most of the above players are players i personally wouldn't include in our strongest squad of 18 anyway, i see it as: Sorensen Wilkinson Ab. Faye Shawcross Higgy Lawrence Delap Whelan Etherington Fuller Beattie Subs: Simonsen Kelly Sonko Pugh Sidibe Amdy Faye Camara I know alot is dependant on whether we survive or not, but i think we will.

If we stay up and we're successful in bringing in six (right back, left back, right midfield, 2 x central midfield and a striker) players that are better than we've got in the STARTING ELEVEN positions, then, for me the players being shown the door would be:
Pericard - out of contract Diao - out of contract Griffin - Free transfer Cresswell - Free transfer Tonge - 1 mil Seyi - 1 mil Kitson - 2.5 mil
I'd probably hang on to Soares, Davies, Cort and Dicko for at least another season, as I'm sure their wages aren't so high that they'd restrict us from seeing how they develop on short term loans or playing on the fringes of our reserve team.

To release Griff on a free transfer we'd have to pay up the 3 remaining years of it and he's probably on a fair wedge so it would cost a fortune.
And we can get money for Cressy, I'm sure of that.

Bayern that's EXACTLY why I'd let Griff and Creswell go on a free, so that the club they would be going to could afford to continue to honour the remainder of their contracts. No club is going to pay a fee for either of them AND meet their current wage demands.

I fear it wouldn't be that easy! And 500k is achievable for Cressy imo.

I think we could get a fee for both players, both are still capable of doing the business at championship level, Cressy has scored several important goals for us in the championship.

Yeah Cressy probably is good enough for the championship Luke, but is there a championship side out there who would or more importantly could pay a fee for him AND then AS WELL match his current wages of (often reported on here as being) 16k basic + 3k appearance bonus per week?

Well thats the question yeah, i suppose it depends whether he'd take a loss in order to play more regular football.

Fat Sam would sign Faye given half an opportunity. I could see a whole host of vultures for Shawcross. And Beattie would attract the attentions of a number of clubs too.
Out of the 3 Beattie would be the most likely to stay imo.
