I have been watching the goal over and over again.
YEs, mama was being pulled apart by two defenders but he didnt jump and wasnt ever looking like he was going to.
As the ball came in, he appeared to be the target, so the Boro players thought they had him covered but then he moved back clearing the way for Shawcross to come in.
Overall, he took 4 defenders out of the game.
This will be yet another season he doesn't score many, but yet this was yet another vital 'assist' and an inspired change bt TP
