No doubt the so called purists will start taking the piss again. Saturdays goal was a classic move and would have been hailed if it had come from a free kick. We still tend to over use it in my opinion but if we get the movement right in the box it is almost impossible to defend.
Sod the pundits.Delaps long throw stirs the atmosphere, creates mayhem and should not be so unfairly treated. It is a specialist move akin to a corner or a free kick.

I thought that after the game, all of a sudden we have become "that team with the long throw" again and you'd think we never scored without it . Oh well, if it works then why not use it, if Ferdinhand/Carrick/Gerrard had the ability to throw it long like Delap the pundits would be fawning over it.

What? I think this is absolute rubbish!! We get loads of praise for the throw and teams are trying to copy it! Why are people like "everyone hates us" It is annoying! Did you not hear what Alan Hanson said on MOTD2! Get a grip!

A throw-in is a dead ball situation. When Beckham used to get a free kick for man Ure (dead ball situation) they wanked over it. As people have said, sour grapes.

I personally would like to hear the media going on about the long throw alot more as that would mean we were scoring more goals .

Boro tried (and failed!) to use it on saturday. Whats that saying about copying is the highest form of flattery?
