I only watched the highlights on MOTD2 and I know they don't always paint a true picture, but I thought Hull looked shocking today! I have said for months now that I think Hull will go down and I still think they will! I would love it, just love it if they went down, only to hear Tangos excuses!

Would rather see teams like Middlesbough and Newcastle go down. It would be good for football if Stoke and Hull were to stay up.

Hull have been totally found out. Ever since Tango pulled them onto the pitch at half time in the Citeh game for a rollocking, they have been fucked.
Just to see Tango go down would make the season complete, as long as we stay up!!

To be fair, you know how MOTD works right? I'm sure there are many occasions this season where all of your good bits are overlooked and as a result you just look shit. Hull wont go down - it will be the barcodes. Can you imagine the pressure that they will be under?

If i was a betting man though i'd go for Newcastle, Boro & WBA as I have for the last 2-3 months

I think if we get above Hull, they are in trouble.
13 points in 20 games isn't good, and they don't seem capable of finding theri way out of it at the moment, especially with players like Marney, Ashbee & the increasingly disparate Geovanni. Bullard's injury didn't help a lot either.
To be honest, because of the ridiculous Phil Brown and the desperately attention seeking Chairman (Duffy? Duffen?) i'd shed no tears for them if they did go, however for the good of the league i hope they stop up and Newcastle join Boro & Albion drinking fizzy pop next year.

Hull's run-in on paper looks good, nowhere near as good as ours but still, a hell of a lot more pleasant than Castles.
I think and hope Hull stay up, the current bottom two are down, then IMO its one from: Castle, Hull, Pompey, Blackburn, Bolton, Sunderland and us.
Im absolutley certain we will survive.

I think/hope we'll be fine aswell but i definitley believe Hull are in more trouble than we are. Fookin' great innit? ;D

I think it will be Newcastle.
We all have problems when we are this end of the table, it maybe through inexperience, or naivety, or bad luck with injuries or a struggling manager. But Newcastle have meticulously bungled every single thing about their club. You couldn't plan a disaster better.
The owner is wanting out and the fans agree. The club is in debt to the owner for hundreds of millions which they haven't got. Ashley will not take a loss on it and so won't sell it for what anyone will pay for it, but he won't invest either. If they get relegated it all gets ten time worse with expensive player contracts and reduced income.
The management is another shambles. Kinnear was brought in to save the club from Hughton who was inept. Then Kinnear goes off sick and so they give it back to Hughton and guess what? It's all falling apart again. Ashley and Wise always reminded me of Laurel and Hardy, ever wonder Keegan walked.
Shay Given was pretty damning of the place when he left. I assume that is a view held by the other players. Owen will walk at the end of the season and I'm sure the other players know this. Of those who probably won't walk will be Viduka, Smith and a few others who must be on a good whack - why would they volunteer for a pay-cut? The better players like Duff and Martins will probably leave at the first chance.
I really think Newcastle are going down. In normal circumstances it would probably be quite good for them. It would make them shake themselves up, but it is more likely to send them off in the direction of Leeds.
Loony Toons.

Hull do play some tidy football times, but their defending of late has been nothing short of awful, I said a few weeks ago my 3 teams to go down, and my predictions still haven't changed:
Middlesbrough Hull City West Brom
The beauty of it for us is that for me its in our own hands now, its ours to lose, we need in my opinion 9 more points to stay up ( 3 wins ) and given our run-in compared to the sides around us we have to fancy our chances, especially with us having one of the best home forms in the league, and the 11th best current league form, superior to most around us.
Just one away win would take massive pressure off our next home game, because I like many others think that our survival is largely dependant on whether we can maintain our home form.

That on the pitch rollocking was Tango massaging his own ego, it was embaressing and pathetic and it has reared up and bit him on his arse... ;D However I hope Hull stay up because it will make our chances of survival easier next year...thanks Tangoman... ;D

If Castle, Boro and WBA go down then next season you would expect Hull to struggle as they have since September, Pompey to struggle due to their financial problems, the 3 promoted sides to be there or there abouts, West Ham may have to get rid of a few players.
Add in clubs like Bolton, Wigan, Fulham, Blackburn, and Sunderland who are all more than capable of going down next season, as of course we are, and you would think, with a good summer spend, we have a damn good chance of establishing ourselves next year

I really am in a dilema about Hull ! As a club and a City I like them and it would be good if we both stayed up after we'd both been written off pre Season BUT... In Phil Brown they have one of the most dislikable, arrogant and self obsessed wankers you are ever liklely to encounter and just imagine the smarmy twat all over our screens if they manage to stay up So on balance I'd say I hope they go down

I think that if we can overhaul Hull, it will be huge for us. I think its a psychological target the TP must have looked at at the start of the season... it must have been in his mind that if we finished above Hull, in his mind we would be trying to avoid one of 2 relegation places. Mind you, if you consider the points we have pissed with silly late goals i.e. West Ham and Chelsea to name but 2, we would be safe by now! Grrrr.
