Kitson (obviously) £5.5m, Soares £2m, Tonge £2m, Olofinjana £3m, Sonko £2.5m, Davies £1.5m. £16.5m blown on players that can’t get near the first team while we still have the crux of our CCC team turning out week after week.
Hopefully we’ll be in a better position to attract better quality than we have particularly midfield as Salif and Amdy are clearly out of their depth in this league.

TP has been superb this season. He deserves to be manager of the season if he keeps us up.

Hopefully we’ll be in a better position to attract better quality than we have I think this is the key thing. I reckon we struggled in the summer amid media hysteria about "doing a Derby" and panicked, spunking money on some duff impulse buys. Having shown we could compete, we were then able to bring in better quality like Etherington and Beattie. If we stay up, I reckon we might be pleasantly surprised at the standard of player we're able to attract. |

I'm a big TP fan March, and if he keeps us up he'll deserve a lot of credit. Manager of the season is pushing it though. There's an argument that with the money we've spent we should expect to stay up. |

yeah, because Pulis deliberately went out to buy shit mediocre players this season, eh? TP: Can i have 17 million to piss up the wall, pete? PC: Course Tone...dunna spoil it by buying a bargain defender in the summer, then a talented striker in January though.  and while we're scraping the barrel for negativity...when are the club going to carpet the boothen concourse. It has a terrible effect on the acoustics when we sing 'we are staying up'  |

Can’t agree with you on Amdy and Ethers has yet to prove his worth, didn’t make much of an impact yesterday. Higgy has been solid Abdy has been the best buy and Beattie has been a superb signing, Sorro has been a bit of a liability at times IMO but occasionally brilliant as well. A bit silly IMO saying Pulis deserves manager of the season though. |

Davies signing was made due to lack of cover in the right back role. No one could foresee Wilkinson's form!
Soares is 1 for the future and was a 'bolstering of the midfield'. I wouldn't say this was a waste, yet.
Tonge would be playing more if we hadn't got Etherington after. When given the chance he didn't particularly take it and has 1 of the slowest set piece kicks ever! Decent backup if we ever got injuries again.
Kitson, wasn't 5.5m for the 5.5 millionth time! We will almost certainly get that money back, especially if he keeps scoring and/or takes Reading up. At the time we need prolific scorer. Fuller made a good start of the campaign and we then got Beattie.
Olofinjana just seemed a gamble and was an early signing, TP was probably thinking that if he didn't get him, there might not be many others available. I think we should regain half the money we spent at least.
Sonko has been OK at times but had a couple of bad games (That penalty was awful). Still I aren't that bothered if he is backup and confident he can do a job in this league.
All in all, not that much of a waste. the times where Cresswell was getting in the team was a joke, thank god he isn't getting a look in now!

What's your problem with Amdy? He's been generally pretty good when he's played. Sorro has saved us far, far more often than he's let us down and he cost nothing. If another manager had signed these players I doubt you'd be so eager to knock them. |

Davies and Soares could yet turn out to be good signings, both still young and in the case of Davies the guy needs an injury free run and a good pre season under his belt before we judge him fairly.

They dont like it these supposed know it all anti's and show it by always going on about negative stuff. It's as if no other manager has ever brought players to their clubs which haven't worked out.
