With sheffield utd getting £20m compensation for the tevez affair plus warnock and ex-players sueing for loss of premiership earnings got me thinking who else could have a claim. Here is my list. 1. local pie company who would have been able to hike their prices in the premiership. 2. sheff utd fans for the trauma of having to watch bardiff and swansea. 3. ball boys who would have been paid higher match fees 4. leeds utd because they will find a reason
feel free to add to list.

We have a claim for sueing them too, if tevez hadn't of scored, west ham wouldnt of stayed up which means sheff utd would of, warnock wouldn't of left sheff utd for palace, they wouldn't of beat us at our place last season and we would of won the title instead of finishing 2nd ;D
Sue the bastards,,,,,, ;D

Leeds utd have found a reason, ken bates has joined in ;D
something to do with player transfer fees and add ons if they stay in the premiership, this could be like the Mathews of dewsbury extended chav family benefits claim list by the time it's finished.

IN the middle of your argument, is actually quite a valid point. If WHU now accept that they have cheated SU out of Premiership place, then surely clubs who sold players to SU whose fee was linked to them staying in the prem would have a claim. Of course, WHU should then be able to claim back any payments they made in respect of player purchases, following their survival The whole thing could (is!) getting ridiculous

The whole thing could (is!) getting ridiculous I think your point is well established, and if it had been Sheffield (or us) I suspect that the points would have been deducted!

Difficult to know the extent of how much further this can go, but it's going to get very interesting. I'm sure there'll be some terms wrapped around the out of court settlement that will limit to a defined extent. My main interest is just how West Ham are going to afford to pay up. Their Icelandic CEO is more than a little financially challenged at the moment, so quite where it's going to come from without selling players, I really don't know.
Never though I'd say this, I hope Warnock takes them to the cleaners - in a relative sense.

What about all those fixed odds coupons that went down the pan when West Ham unexpectedly won at The Shit on the last day of the season and kept them up? All of those people surely have a claim? Twisty??
Funny how Tevez knew he was already on his way there, I think the deal was done with West Ham, and then how The Shit lost? (allegedly)

if i'm right then i assume as the settlement is out of court, this'll mean there hasn't been a precident set so any associated claim will require a new court case which will have to be argued on its own merits. IMO any future claim probably wouldnt recieve the favorable outcome shef utd got - and which i dont believe they were entitled to anyway. i really do think they're clutching at straws to say that one signing relegated them - its more about their form over the season against the other 18 teams.

I hope it does turn into a free-for-all. It might serve to teach the PL / FA that they need to hand down appropriate punishments in the first instance.

I know I don't have my facts exactly right here, but Wet Sham cheated and should be punished, Just like Swindon Town cheated when Lou was the boss there.... Swindon could not afford to pay everyone off, so they got put down a couple of divisions Wet Sham have a bit of money and are paying everyone off.... This is unjust! I hope Karma gets them!

sheff utd are going to sue stoke because if west ham had`nt cheatd with tevez, they would have stayed up,kept beattie and stoke would`nt have taken advantage of their situation, so, after the blades sue us we will sue west ham to get our money back.

There will surely be a claim from advertisers, shirt sponsors who surely will feel aggrieved at the loss of television coverage around the globe from Sheffield United being relegated. Any sponsor who had long term deals with the blades will surely be weighing up the costs of less televisions coverage and exposure of their names.
