Unbelievably shrewed move from Pulis, let Kitson return to form with reading, banging the goals in, confidence through the roof, then bring him back for the last couple of matches to help clinch safety!!!!!!!!

Will he score as many as Cressers did last season?

he could score another 20 for Reading but he will never score another goal, sorry I mean A GOAL for Stoke. Face it he wants to be at Stoke as much as I want him to play another game for us. He has been an embarrassment the more he scores for Reading now it is like rubbing our noses in it. Personally I think the whole deal stinks.

Kitson can fucking stay there.
Get off our wage bill and earn us at least half of his transfer fee back. Lazy lanky twat.

Let's say he scores a load for Reading and we let him go back. If we're in the same division next season it will come back to bite us in the arse.
If ever there was a player tailor-made to score every time he played against Stoke, it's Kitson.

he scored as raeding had a winger who got to the byline and pulled the ball back for him to score, can you honestly say that happened in amtcgh when he was here? For most of them he had his back to goal trying to control 60 yard punts or chase a ball through the channels. It was a bad buy by TP as he wasn't going to change the sytem to suit the ginger one's style.

Yes he would have had more chances if lawrence was fit or if we had signed ethers earlier but he obviously never fitted in and if Abdo had got to him at wigan he would have ripped him a new arsehole.

Kitson is /was a good player, anyone who cant see that is a grade one numpty. No body has said he isn't. We are saying he was not a good player for us and never will be! anybody who cant see that is a grade two numpty

Anyone who thinks that Kitson suddenly became "shit" and "lazy" and that his performances had nothing to do with either tactics or the position he was asked to fill on occasions is a grade A triple star numpty with bells on.
I'm getting fed up with all of the posts that seem to fail to take all of the issues (including his head) into account.
Having said that, Beattie looks a far better option for us, and we are never going to change how we play, so I suspect that Kitson and Stoke are both bettter off without each other.

People say hes wank cos he didnt score in 18 games, but thats just a convenient stat for there arguement! How many of those sub appearances were just for 30 seconds or so!!
How many clear cut chances did he have in those 18 games? 3? Portsmouth away, Spurs at home (where he missed the ball by 2 inches and Delap scored) and Liverpool at home

Sometimes you get out of life what you put in, did our players have to hand it him on a plate in order for him to score?

irrelevant thread anyway, i think he's made it fairly clear that coming to stoke was a mistake so let's face it he wouldn't want to come back anyway

Its unfortunate it didnt work out as with the right service he could have been a top player for us. Beats got exactly what Kits needed, decent service from Ethers, and an early goal to take a lot of the pressure off. Once 2 or 3 games went by without him scoring the pressure was mounting with every second he was on the pitch.
I cant see him ever playing for Stoke again, barring a major injury crisis. Hopefully now we can just get the majority of fee back for him
