Just to double check (what with me being paranoid and all!) What are the numbers of the remaining season ticket vouchers? I want to make sure I've not ripped 2 out at once! I wish that they had gone with the traditional 1 through to 19 method.
Cheers

thats right, parkhall.
I've just checked mine and my daughters. It's highly unlikely we'd all be missing the same number ;D

Wonder if anyone's superstitious at the club - I've been waiting to see when no 13 is going to be deployed.

i think the random number idea has caused more problems than it's solved. Like you say salop, it hasn't stopped people selling their ticket, and in any event, if that seat has been paid for what difference does it make to the club whose bum is on it?
All they ever needed to do was state that the ticket needs to be detatched from the book by the turnstile operator and we could have kept sequential numbers ???

Why bother with tickets at all just issue everyone with an ID card - show your card, in you go nice and quick and if they want to stop the passing on of tickets problem it goes some way to that as well.

In the JSU the season tickets used to be plastic cards with a magnetic strip (like a credit card), so no vouchers. I think they were supposed to be bringing in a system where cards were swiped at the turnstile, but that didn't happen. They've gone back to booklets/vouchers this season though.

I did actually rip out two tickets at once without noticing and handed them both to the turnstile guy. fortunately he was more switched on than me and stopped me going through before handing me the extra one back. Turns out the one i tried to throw away was for Liverpool!!
