He did have several opportunities that he either misshit or went straight to the keeper.

I did try and point out Camara's limitations. Anyone still want him in the first team? I'd still like to see what he has to offer, yes. He's got a reasonable amount of goals this season for someone who hasn't featured very much and we're crying out for somepace in the side. Rob, Cressers has commitment and Camara has pace. That is where their strengths begin and end I'm afraid. Playing Camara will have the same advantages as playing Pericard or Cresswell. His loan move is going to be one of those enigmas that none of us will ever understand. He and Kelly will slip quietly back to their host clubs at the end of the season.

Sorry but Camara was not at all good, again, tonight. I agreed with his signing but can see no reason he has shown to play him. Maybe we have to accept certain players will work and others wont - cant think of a team who bought they will fit players who dindt

He hasn't played many games to be fair, although his lack of action tells you what the managers of Wet Sham and Wigwam think of him. In his defence, that is more goals than Kitson, Periscope and Cressers have managed

I've read a fair bit from Wigan fans who were sorry to see him go.

He was a tad like Kitson just without the touch of a rapist.

We battered them but they were clinical and due to errors bu Griff and Dicko scored. Camara missed a host of chances but he looked ok and the keeper pulled off some good saves. Cresswell was useless God bless him. Tonge looked average. Cort and Sonks were untroubled and Griff and Dicko played well until they combined for the goal! Griff gave a pacy 10 yards to run at him, got skinned and then Dicko played 3 Portsmouth players onside. And then the player cooly finished. "Cresswell was useless God bless him" Conna fault the lad for effort though even in a reserve game. I am surprised you didnt mentioned the lad got crocked in the first half and a cut head challenging the keeper in the second. shame the players with the more ability in our squad dont have his commitment That was an awful challenge I agree. But he looked shite. His touch was shite, his shooting was shite, his passing was shite. Running around in the Premier League is not enough-end of! Camara had a few chances and unlike Cresswell he at least made the keeper work. Pugh was cack and couldn't cross.

it was sarcastic, jesus. And those 'kids' are you referring to us? because we were singing? cmon fella. Annoying little chavs who thought that they were the main top boys cus' they sang. Playing up to their mates. was well annoying! But about the game, Thought it was a good solid performance, Cresswell was rubbish as ever, missed a couple of chances and failed to win headers, jumping to late, to early or not jumping at all. One thing that baffled me, was that everyone wanted loads of time on the ball, whether to take shots - 3 times we had players one on one with the keeper but hesitation wither let the defender come back or the goalie to narrow the angle, and it was similar with passing the ball. But when players were given the time and place, some especially seyi tried to hard to impress TP, and made him look a bit poor IMO I think if we do drop salif, we have a replacement for him lined up...Andrew Davies who played a good portion of the second half in central midfield and to be fair to the lad played pretty well, forcing the keeper to a fantastic save at one point

Davies looked better than Seyi in midfield and he did play well. But I would never want to see him play in midfield in the league.

Tonge---Faye---Seyi---Ethers
That's got to be close to 10 millions worth of midfield starting in the reserves tonight, money that's been spent since we got promoted.
Most people seem to think that our current best midfield should consist of:
Lawrence---Rory---Whelan---Ethers
Three out of the four obviously having already been at the club before we started spending the Premiership windfall.

It was a very poor performance last night. We had eleven players who all have a realistic chance of pushing themselves into the first team and not one of them gave the manager a headache.
Camara looked about 2% better than last week, Tonge was anonymous, Cresswell ran into alot of players, Olofinjana did alot of his famous turning circles in the middle of the park and Etherington obviously picked up a knock.
All in all, a very poor night.

I dont agree that Tonge was anonymout Knowles, he was one of only 2 or 3 that was actually putting any effort in.
The problem when you put out a strong reserve team consisting of players very close to the first 18 like we did is that there wont be anyone willing to give it the 100% as they dont want to go flying into tackles etc and get injured if they have a chance of getting into the first 18.
