We battered them but they were clinical and due to errors bu Griff and Dicko scored. Camara missed a host of chances but he looked ok and the keeper pulled off some good saves. Cresswell was useless God bless him. Tonge looked average. Cort and Sonks were untroubled and Griff and Dicko played well until they combined for the goal! Griff gave a pacy 10 yards to run at him, got skinned and then Dicko played 3 Portsmouth players onside. And then the player cooly finished.

It was like the bear pit tonight, us lads singing our hearts out for the lads. We were lasts ones out then they turned the lights off on us All over them, and they get a lucky break and score. Pfft.

"Cresswell was useless God bless him" Conna fault the lad for effort though even in a reserve game. I am surprised you didnt mentioned the lad got crocked in the first half and a cut head challenging the keeper in the second. shame the players with the more ability in our squad dont have his commitment

Well you can move to another seat, there was plenty available.
We had a bunch of kids about 10 on the halfway line just behind us squeeling like little girls, moved across a bit, problem solved.
I wouldn't call singing "go on stoke" for about 5 seconds a bearpit!

Taking Jamo junior tomorrow night as he hasn't been the Brit since pre season. It's his 4th birthday on Wendesday so what more of an early present could he ask for? I blame Jamo for the kids tbh.

Went to the match, Left 15 minutes early and thank fuck for that, We hit the crossbar twice, Cresswell put alot of effort into it and Etherington was brilliant in my opinion, Camara was fast but he was also shite, I really expected much more from a strong Stoke squad ( attacking wise ) other than that I enjoyed it.

Camara & Cresswell should have had 4 goals apiece. I just pray to God Beattie & Fuller don't get injured. Leon Cort, Danny Pugh & Michael Tonge in the 2nd half were the only players who stood out for me.

If we cant score against a bunch of kids when we field a line up like tonights then it's really worrying. It's like none of the players knew what to do once they were inside Portsmouth's box, and when people did take a shot half the time they put absolutely no effort into it. It was really good to see some of the guys perform well though, especially Ethers and Pugh who were both ace imo

I did try and point out Camara's limitations.
Anyone still want him in the first team?

It appears that he isnt fitting in - Beatts, Fuller 1st and Mama as back up - suddenly our attacking options (albeit brill 1st choice) dont look so deep - lets hope all stay fit
