No more excuses no more standing off. Boro are in poor form and look a bit of a mess and it's a rare occasion where we go into a game as favourites.
Our home form is one of our biggest assets so we need to start our best eleven and put them on the back foot and exploit their lack of confidence. Failing to do so would be inexcusable and indicative of a lack of ambition.
This game will go a long way to establish whether we really are Premier League or just here for the view.
What will we do? Stand up and be counted or wimp out like pussies?

After the Fulham, Hull and Brazil games it did look like we'd struggle against this kind of opposition, but dont forget Hull were on an amazing away run and Fulham had secured a fair few away 0-0s. The way we saw off a decent Bolton side gives me a hell of a lot confidence, because lets face it these are wank.

They must see this game as pretty much shit or bust. Even with our home record they will see this as one of their most winnable remaining games. I expect them to throw everything at us. I have a bad feeling about it.

I have a bad feeling about it. Agree with with those sentiments myself. A lot of our fans seem to think that this game is a formality but it won't be easy i'm sure.

We know we have a habit of shooting ourselves in the foot, we've really got to be up for this ... both the players and us 110%.

We have do the thing we don't often do well.....smell blood. Too often we are playing a side with issues and let them get at us and they grow in confidence.
So smell blood Stoke.
