I take it he didn't even feature on the bench at Goodison? does this mean we could possibly looking at the end of Richard Cresswell as an automatic choice for Stoke?!
This is not a personal hate attack against him, the guy runs his socks off, but I was pondering as to whether now Pulis can see that we have better options?

Are you saying that pulis has opened his eyes abit and realised why he even puts him on the pitch.

All my under 16's ran their socks off yesterday, but they wouldn't make stoke's team, well one or two might if Ant pulis was still here, they'd be singing "If pulis can play for stoke so can I" Yes it looks like the end of Cresser, and not before time. IMO bringing him on against Chelsea and Pompey cost us points.

We could all run around like headless chickens for 90 i think. The thing is with cresswell is that he clearly aint good enough for the prem.Hes a one trick pont knock the ball past a man and run like fook.

Glad that pullis has finally seen what all the rest of us have seen all season. That yes he works hard and runs his socks off and you might just be able to get away with that in the championship but in the prem you need more and im afraid he just aint up to the standard. Although i have slated him like most people, i am grateful for his contribution last season in gettting us to the promise land his goals were vital! (athough most were tap ins ) We got richard cressewell he scores from two yards ha brilliant singing that last year! Thanks cress now fuck off ;D

Thanks cress now fuck off ;D agree with most of that - he was our most underated but devastaing performer last year and his 14 goals played a massive role in our promotion its a shame he has not had the same impact this season despite lots of opportunity - opportunity that may have been better served given to kitson but i digress i think he will get a run out before the season ends but when we stay up he will probably move on cressy what ever happens for your past exploits i thankyou and good luck in the future

If it is the end, thanks Richard for a 100% honest job despite the lack of appreciation, it can't be easy knowing you're holding the fort till the real talent arrives.

I respect Cressy, he clearly isn't a top flight player, but he gives 100% for SCFC. And he isn't a shockingly bad player either. Good presence to have in the squad, his work ethic sets a good example.

Cresswell is not making the team because of the signing of Beattie, return of Mama, return of Fuller, return of Lawrence, return of Etherington, return of Rory, and the signing of Camara. cresswell has only ever really featured when we've had injuries and suspensions.

Cresswell has been much maligned on here , he certainly lacks the ability to be a premiership player , but as many have already said , he always gave 100% the fact he has made so many appearences for us in the prem. is hardly his fault.

TP finds it hard to forgive those who lack discipline at key moments.
Cressers had to take some of the blame for Pompey's equaliser and hasn't played since.
