Just noticed he has scored 12 this season on loan at Plymouth and is looking to get a recall to the Scottish team.
Maybe he has realised he is never going to get a game at Blackburn and is enjoying playing every game. Always liked him as a player for Stoke, always classy on the ball and knew where the back of the net was. He always seemed to get stick from the booboys for not tracking back and working arrd!!
Also Iwelumo is on 14 for the season. Could be them two up front for Scotland!!! What is the world coming to when Scotland are fielding 2 ex Stokies up top in a world cup qualifier!! We just need Beattie to get a recall to the England team and Stoke will become the new centre of international British strikers.
