A couple of discussion points.
1. Liam Lawrence. Has he impressed you since returning from injury?
He hasn't really hit the ground running, I know that he has had a considerable amount of time out, but he hasn't done it for me so far. Has also come close to getting a red card on two occasions. Wouldn't surprise me, if he made way for Delap to return to the right and Ethers to move out wide to the left, to have Faye / Diao with Whelan in the centre.
2. Stephen Kelly. Where's he gone!?
Hasn't impressed me so far, at Sunderland he was woeful, and the game he had with Ireland didn't seem much better. Made the bench Vs Villa and hasn't had a sniff since. No news of injury, will he go down as another pecuilar Pulis Premier League signing?! Strange really as Pulis was really lavishing praise on him when he signed and you would have thought he would have been involved much more with the squad. He has a long way to go to replace the excellent Wilko at the moment.

Think Liams done ok to be honest and if you compare his efforts since returning from injury and Mama's efforts he wins hands down. His set pieces have been excellent and once he's got Ric playing in front of him I'm sure he will look even better.
Kelly's a strange one but then if TP is as surprised as me how Wilko has improved that could explain it.

Kelly and Camara - last minute deadline day panic buys.
TP has seen them in training and so don't expect them in the first team anytime soon.
Lenny is taking a while to get match fit. But there again, so are Mama, Ric and Diao.

Kelly's still gaining fitness from an injury thats kept him out for a good while, as for Liam, same story I suppose, but for me he's done alright, he does seem to be getting better with matches, which is what TP said he needed.

Kelly is simply cover for Wilko due to the dropping of Griffin who won't play again!
Camara was cover for Mama and Ric while they were out and just incase we got any more injuries or suspensions as Kitson was always going out on loan

Unfortunately dont think Lenny is up to prem excellent championship player You obviously didnt see him playing for Sunderland in the Prem then? He was one of the very few shining lights for Sunderland when they went up and i have no doubt he is premiership quality unfortunately he hasnt played for us fully fit this season as he had no pre- season and got injured again just after starting to regain match fitness, he will come good but he needs 5 or 6 90 minutes first.

How can Kelly and Camara be "last minute panic buys" - when we haven't bought them? As I see it TP decided (possibly because he couldn't get the players he really wanted) to take them as cover in case we had any more injuries in the run in. If they don't cut the mustard they won't be with us next season - end of story.

Kelly & Camara have been linked with Stoke under Pulis for a long time ,Kelly was wanted on loan from Spurs when Tp was in charge 1st time around.
hardly qualifies as a panic buy.
Liam has was very good for 30 mins v Pompey & then struggled big time in the agmes since then he has been OK
to me its clear that he wasnt in the side earlier for the very simple reason that he wasnt fit other players have got back quicker beacuse their fitness has been better.Plus of cours TP sees wide left & wide right as the positions requiring teh greatest fitness in our side.

I thought lawrence and Camera when he came on, were both poor. Lawrence last year used to attack the full backs, he now seems to turn back (just like cresswell), although not in Cresswells class !!
I think he needs to lose some weight

Sorry to say but Liam has no premiership qualities, and has ben there once with sunderlandand they got relegated.Been a great servant but we have to move on if we survive. Delap not good enough Higginbottom distribution bloody awful Salif struggling for pace and quality

I think his performances over the last few games have improved. It takes a while to regain match fitness (as we are seeing with Mama). I thought on Saturday, however, that he looked a little out of his depth, until Camera came on, then I wished he hadn't gone off!

Definitely pleased with Lenny's return. Against Portsmouth he was everywhere, made a real difference, and I thought he was the better of the two wingers on Saturday.

Yes he is gaining fitness as his workrate is getting better..... I just wish he would believe in himself a little more and start running at defenders rather hten stopping and playing backwards/across.......

Liam was bound to need time after such a long injury layoff. I don't buy this stuff about he got relegated with Sunderland therefore he isn't Premiership quality. To me he always looked one of the better Sunderland players that season. I think people forget that Liam had a groin op last summer so he couldn't have a had a proper pre season then he got another injury a month or so into this season - I doubt if he will be consistently back to his old form of last year until August.

what confuses me is that kelly has done crap for us and is in ireland team but lenny has done good for us since coming back from injury and is still not in it thought delap would have been called up by now at least once

I think Lenny is playing better than he ws at the start of the season. Wilko is playing brilliant atm and has the added passion, i think Kelly is here to kep him on his toes.
