No I don't remember that - I remember chanting Ade Bombyay or something similar - certainly it had two "b"s in it!

Afraid it didnt my pedantic friend,it was taken from the chant 'Ali Bomaye' that the people of Zaire chanted to Muhammad Ali at 'The Rumble in the Jungle' meaning 'Ali Kill him'.
pronounced boo-my-ay.

BSR - I am sure you are right but at STOKE we chated Bombyay - with two Bs
EDIT - possibly the few Zairians at the Brit got it right! ;D
