Let battle commence between the PHW's and the PR's after another away defeat.
I'll (possibly) sign off for today with:
1. I'm out to gtet hammered tonight with my brother who's come up from down south - I will try to forget today asap
2. I'm trying not to get really down about our lack of willingness to at least have a bit of a go from the off away from home
3. Ditto the above for the fact that yet again, a clearly woeful Mama Sidibe could everb start a match in front of Ricardo Fuller. I'm sure some folk will try to explain just why - sorry, I will never, ever understand it. Even a fit and in-form Mama shouldn't, never mind the shockingly bad last few games he's had.
4. I am now looking foward to next week's home game. Anyone not prepared to sing and make next Saturday the best ever atmosphere at a Stoke game should abdicate their seat and give to someone who will.
5. We aren't half putting a shedload of pressure onto our home games. I am just afraid that we are due to lose at home.
6. I'd quite like 2 managers at Stoke. TP for home games and someone else for away games. You simply conna argue with what the gaffer has done at home, but on the road...dear dear. (yes, i know it won't ever happen, but I like TP yet he frustrates the hell out of me).
Have a good weekend.

www.stokecityfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10310~1590646,00.html Pulis claims Fuller couldn't have lasted 90, and gives the impression that both he and Etherington would have started if they'd been fully fit. Fair enough if you take him at his word. But surely the imperative was to have someone from the off in the front 4 who could have stretched the opposition. Camara, surely, was the obvious like-for-like replacement for Fuller? Mama has offered very little away away from the Brit all season and he and Beattie looks like a very poor fit.

Can't disagree with any of that..and I particularly like point no.6...the idea of having two managers...perhaps Martin O Neil on a part-time basis as an Away Manager and TP for the home games...
Point no4 is absolutely spot-on...

I agree about Camara and it makes no sense even March4 will say! If Ethers isn't fit he should have played 45 minutes in the reserves on Monday. And Fuller looks sharper than he's been all season! Fair comments not backed up the actions we've seen on the pitch and from not giving Ethers a run out!

Yeah, I was expecting Etherington to play an hour at West Brom to put some match miles in his legs after 5 weeks out.
Agree re Fuller too. He has looked as sharp as a tack ever since he came on at Villa. But I suppose we must take Pulis at his word on that one.

But I suppose we must take Pulis at his word on that one. i can't, he spouts too much crap, That was the best display from a full back (re griffin at sheff wed) Salif Diao is the best midfielder in the League etc.
