read dennis smiths colum in the sentinal last night, interesting to say he wouls go with lenny and matty today on both wings, does he no something we dont? i dont think tone will go with both of them, hope he does tho cause i think if we play positive we can get a win today.

A win is beyond us IMHO unfortunately. A draw would be a excellent result.

Don't agree, Jo. If we go for it we can match most teams in the division. We were very unlucky when we played them at the Brit, and have strengthened (well) since. We must start with Lawrence and Etheringtong playing, and go for it. Everton are a decent side, but not the most talented. We shouldn't go into games playing not to lose. Aim low, and you get low.

im expecting a loss, therefore a draw would be a result... a win would be immense, season changing, epoch defining, paradigm shifting etc etc

what ive seen of everton their is no reason why we cant go their and pick up a result, imo i think pulis will try frustrate them and go for the point, but we should stop worrying about other teams and go for the 3. without arteta everton dont click. hes their engine. they are very average without him, they have no pace, no creativity, they are just an average run of the mill team that grinds teams down, hoping cahill will head them a winner.

Thing is Everton are like us in that their game is about power and grinding the opposition down. Sometimes teams like that struggle against sides that grind them back.

ive got a bet with my cousin that liam wont start today. the logic...
"i've lost my first choice widemen, delap and etherington" Tony Pulis after defeat at Sunderland.

pulis won't start liam and matty that would be far too much quality in a team for pulis and he hasn't got the bollocks to attack like that sadly
