No - by saying he got it wrong at Villa, he was essentially saying he got it right in all of the other games where he played the standard away formation. He might be right about that, time will tell.

Tony is a tactical genius and anybody who disagrees should fuck off up the Vale.
The team he selects tomorrow is good enough for me (as long as it doesn't include Cresswell and Pericard )
He's going to outhink Moyes tomorrow....
defend for 70 mins concede a goal bring on Fuller and Camara Shawcross and Fuller score 75 and 85
brilliant

To be honest thought he was referring to the wing back idea when he said he got it wrong. Everton give sod all away and look powderpuff up front.
3-2 to us then :-)

Tony seemed to suggest he got it wrong at Villa by setting his team up to be too attacking.
This would imply that the team tomorrow will be more defensive than the Villa game.
I use the words seem and imply because I'm not really sure I quite believe it, but that's what he seemed to suggest.

I expect same team started v Bolton with Fuller and Etherington on the bench.
I'm sure the chaos that Rory caused them will mean a start for Mama
