I remember reading a post on here a few months back about a small cult following we have in Milan. They have a pub where they watch Stoke games and have SCFC memorabilia on the walls. Well I met one of their legendary members yesterday. I was on a train from Manchester to London and struck up a conversation with this guy next to me who turned out to be a Sunderland fan. I told him I was a Stoke fan and we got chatting about this and that. There was a girl, probably mid-twenties, sitting across from us reading a Man U v Inter programme and I noticed she suddenly seemed to take notice of our conversation. She then said to me, ‘Excuse me (in an Italian accent), but did you say you are a Stoke City fan?’ And it turns out she is one of about 20 members of this cult following in Milan. Said she took the photos on their website: www.fourfourtwo.it/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=61&Itemid=46. Apparently a bunch of them came over for our first game against Villa. Said she’d take me to Milan game if I ever made it over there and I offered to find her Stoke tickets if she makes it back to the UK. Her English wasn’t great and we soon pulled into Euston otherwise would have asked more about their history, why the feck they support Stoke etc. She was on her way home from the Inter game at Old Trafford. Anyway, perhaps some of you have visited their pub before, but thought I’d share this momentous event with you. Top fans. Top pub. Top bird.

I wonder if the guy wearing this season's shirt bought it at the Villa game?

Were these the ones who started watching us just because they saw the celebrations at the Leicester game and were impressed and started watching this season? I remember the thead but just thought it was just a passing interest and didn't take much notice. Great pic btw.

I've got the misfortune of stopping at my wifes' Italian families house in a small village called Cordignano in July ;D Just done the research and it's only about 90 minutes on the train to Milan. Be rude to not to really, wouldn't it?

He isn't an English Stokie no. Full Internazionale supporter who happened to take a shining to our beloved!
Been there a few times and the owner of the bar often visits this website for a chat now and again. Top bloke he is.
I will be there again in 1 week and will probably drop in. Who knows, maybe I will move to Milan 1 day and it will certainly be my local! Girlfriend is Italian and used to live nearby!
Great pub, great memories!
