Blue (Sorry don't respect your pre-fix - stolen from REAL football fans):
Living in the shadow of an infinately superior club has clearly taken it's toll on you. (This applies regardless of whether you are Everton or Vale).
Unfortunately, we have done you the misplaced honour of accepting your 'wind up' challenge when we should have simply ignored your childish, unintelligent shite.
Feel free to come back tonight and tell us (like everyone else) that we are the worst team ever to grace tha Prem because, to be honest, WE LOVE IT.
I simply love it that little old Stoke piss everyone right off!!
Bring it on Dickhead!

I found the initial post mildly amusing.
It was half-decent, worth a look, had comedy value, but ultimately will win no prizes. A bit like Everton, I suppose?
I quite like Everton. They are THE Merseyside club for me - they have one of the best zines in the country (When Skies are grey) and it has been for a while. They are decent, proper football folk, unlike the hordes of coaches from around Europe you see accross the park on matchdays.
Goodison is a proper football ground. A sh****le, but a proper sh****le and they haven't sold their soul (yet) unlike the McDonalds Kop. Despite a dearth of songs, indeed, I've only ever heard two - unless you count the racist filth they always used to chant on a weekly basis - but they do make a din and were decent at the Brit a few months ago.
Saying that though, I expected a far better wind-up and subsequent back-up from this bloke. Indeed, I've got an inkling who it actually is.
EVerton know the score with regards to Stoke City. A smidgeon of respect mixed with the vague hope that come 5pm they haven't lost to the away-day no-hopers. I can see a closely fought defeat for us, but if truth be told, most Evertonians would far prefer the likes of us to most others around, and certainly above the cardboard cut-out supports you have seen in the Premier League since 93.
Win, lose or draw, let's welcome this bloke back tonight. Take the cheap digs and one-liners, as merely by visiting our humble website, we actually MEAN summat to him.
Better to be hated by others than ignored.

Good post Bunny:
Yes Everton do deserve much more respect than Liverpool but Knobhead 'Blue' (if he is indeed an Everton fan) must be gutted the achievements of their hated rivals across the park.
Much of my above post is 'tongue in cheek' as I have several Everton mates (they ARE Scousers!) and they do give us respect and are pretty uncomfortable about todays game.
'Blue' is clearly not a typical Everton fan (if an Everton fan at all) and so he is well deserving of the contempt with which he has been received.
But, as I said above, in reality we should have ignored the useless little twat.

Quite a good post. But delving into stereotypes? Do you really want to pull on that thread?

I've lived in N Staffs for years now and actually love the place! SCFC mates mean I've developed a bit of interest in your club. If it's any consolation I don't think you'll be relegated as you look to be the best balanced of the teams near the bottom with a decent defence for most of the time, particularly at home. W Brom - pretty approach play but poor defence and no bite up front. Middlesbrough - played well in the cup at our place but lack the ability to change much when things go bad. Portsmouth - only seen them once last August and they murdered us at our place but seem to have imploded since then. Hull - the worst defence I have ever seen! How they are where they are is a miracle but they are in freefall, despite last week, and with W Brom are my foavourites to drop. Can't see Newcastle going down but it's getting a bit hairy for them and the Hull game could be critical for both. Stoke have done well to keep the passion and atmosphere going home and away and it's the best atmosphere I've been in at an away game this year including the redshite cuptie. Today? For different reasons - us through injury and you still building in your first season - I think we play a similar game at the moment and I don't see much in it. We are predictable but good at what we do. You play to your strengths and do it well. If you avoid silly sendings off and don't be too negative as at Villa in the first half, I wouldn't see that much between us today. If anyone had said to you last August that your survival would be in your own hands at the end of March (and it is with your next few fixtures) I suspect you would have taken it. Good luck (after 5.0pm today) and see you in the Prem next season. Must go, Gwladys Street calls. PS I'm not really a missionary but some of your posters could do with a humour injection!!

Blue:
Now had you started this thread with the intelligence and thought of the above post then you would have been well received.
A wind-up is fine but your's went beyond and you would have had a much better response had you been more 'up front'.
It's not that we lack a sense of humour (we're well known for having one). Your post left far too much room for conjecture on who you are and who you support. It may have had the desired effect on your part but the above post reflects a much more intelligent approach.
You can still indulge in 'wind-up' tactics mate, but people need to know who and what they are dealing with. Otherwise you get dismissed as a dick!
Anyway, some good comments above and, yes, most of us have far more respect for Everton than Liverpool.
Now isn't that better?
