The way I see it is this: Kitson is a good player who came here on the promise of wingers from TP TP, for whatever reason, was unable to bring in the players he wanted pre-season. This led to Kitson being deprived of service and being asked to play a role unfamiliar to him. If he had scored 1-2 goals in his first 6 games we may have seen something from him. Kitson was ultimately unable to be effective in the role that TP wanted him to play. TP refers back to type & plays Sidibe who proves much more effective. Kitson unable to show any value in the odd cameo roles he gets meaning TP goes out to get another striker. Kitson is 5th choice and has no immediate future at Stoke.
No one person to blame. That's life. Kitson and TP put a positive spin on things like mature professional men and everyone is making the best of a bad job. No need for all this negativity around Kitson. It just didn't work out.

Kitson did run his socks off in most games I think and I wish him all the best in the future! I think it was one of the cup games...Rotherham, where he played really well but ultimately he did not fit into our system and was overall a dissapointment.

At no point did Ktson say they played nicer football at Reading. He just said it was different and he couldn't adapt to it. That is true , we do play alot different to Reading . I think some people just hear what they want so they can have a rant.
Kitson could have come out and said it was all TP's fault and we play long ball which didn't suit him but he didn't. He took the responsibility himself which took balls imo. He has been a huge let down but I do think he's handled it well in the media.

Yes nice one Wizardofabsolutefuckingdrivel
That's why he said it was his choice to join Stoke and he hasn't apportioned blame to anyone, just that it didn't work.

They 'failed' to mention on P&G that Kitson said that the Stoke fans were the best in the Prem, that he'd never heard the like of them, and that he was not surprised why teams found it difficult at the Brit. He also said he thought (and hoped) we would stay up.
Wonder why they 'forgot' to mention that.
So he came for the money. That's what players do.
So it didn't work out. Faults lie on both sides there.
He didn't slag us off though. His family simply could not settle here. No doubt if he'd have scored a few things might have been different but it doesn't always happen.
Shame P&G didn't tell the whole truth about what he'd said.

im sorry but i think hes an arse he only speaks about how its affected him well im not being funny but the club and ultimately the fans are suffering from his mistake as we have wasted good money on him and missed the opportunity to pick up wins or draws from matchs where he has had good chances. What an absolute load of rubbish. He only played 10 games for us, and two of those he was in midfield. If you want to start bleating about wins and draws we've missed I suggest you turn your attention to the master tactician in the dug-out. Sometimes I despair Incidently - P&G is a fucking disgrace of a programme, where events are manipulated and callers abused to fit the pre-ordained views of RStoke.
