On second thoughts, wouldn't this be the second time Vale entered Administration? Surely that's a 15 point deduction and leaves them 7 points above Luton

If they have any sense they will go into admin at the end of the season like Leeds and have the points deducted from next season ?

If they do go into administration they will be deducted 17 pionts because this is the second time.
So it will mean bye bye

4 divisions between us and vale i like the sound of that but if they go down , there is less chance of us getting them in the cup

Maybe we should offer to play them in a pre-season game at Vale Park, they keep all gate reciepts.Like we used to in the 70's and early 80's.But it would be my guess they would turn it down now as they would not want to meet police costs.

So we get the pleasure of watching our team thrash them before they go out of business...no other reason.

It's academic anyway. Even if they were all working voluntarily and eating mouldy pies because they were so skint, they would turn any offer of help down from SCFC.
There's a fine line between pride, stupidity and Port Vale

Dear god what ever happened to the tradition of the league. It is a travesty of justice and an ode to modern times to see any league club go out of business. What possible beef do we have with Vale these days considering there 2 leagues below us.
How many of you are old enough to remember the old Stoke v Vale bust ups.
Get a grip lads, everyone deserves a team. How would you feel if it was them saying this about us and we were on our arses. Don't forget it wasnt that long ago they were were talking about administration for us.

I don't think there'd be many Stoke fans who would really want the fail to go bump, but seeing them drop down the leagues until they're visiting Leek Town and Kidsgrove Athletic would be arse bleedingly hilarious. They'd want exactly the same to happen to us, so fuck 'em.

Vale fan told me today that they would only have a 10 point deduction because of some technicality about the previous administration. Hope they are wrong and someone can tell me why so that I can pass on everyone's best wishes tomorrow.
Got to say that a 10 point deduction and Chester's awful form would probably see Vale survive.............for now ;D

I've stopped looking on there, ethers...their contempt for us is overwhelming and just serves to wind me up more than any other rival board. Humility, given their situation wouldn't go amiss...but i suspect they aren't bright enough for that

They laughed when we were supposedly dying before, so they can wrap it right round them. Tradition of the league to me is a big fuck you to the fans of the club which hates you the most-so fuck them. Bye. 'Top dogs in the Potteries' my hole.
