Charlton leading 1-0 at Reading. Soares got the assist. Normally I'd be happy but I now want Reading to get promoted so we can get some Wonga for Kitson. Maybe Soares could manage an own goal to even things up? ;D
Kitson not in Reading squad - not signed in time to play.

Porkin scored again tonight too ... Well aparently he gets a kebab bonus every time he scores, maybe why he's scoring a few this season.

On BBC text they first said it was Kandol then amended the info to say it was Soares. Haven't seen it myself so can't say who it was for defo.

It was definately Kandol. Nicky Bailey set up the second. Great point for them but it's all a bit too late isn't it?!

Reading born, Tom Soares. Just shows how far we've come when 'one of the most exciting young talents in the English game' as he was descibed not so long ago, with 4 England U21 caps is shipped out as not being up to the required standard (yet).

How old is Soares? I think he's been great everytime he's played. Hopefully a good investment for the future.

I wonder what those Charlton fans are saying now, the ones when they were mid table in the Prem wanted Curbishley out so they could push on..................... Curbishley had taken them as far as he could ?

I hope is fucked off soon - he has shown nothing other than one good half against Spurs to suggest he has anything to offer at this level. First player we have had at Stoke in a while who is scared of a tackle too. Not good enough.
He is even being given praise for an assist he didn't do for a team bottom of the Championship...

agree in that he has been very poor in most of his games
however I think he's played out of position on the wing
more of a central midfielder, would suit a 433 which given TP will never play that way means he is a bit redundant for us.

Sounds like its down to pulis then ay lads with putting him out of position.Makes me think of another play who we had and tried to mould him into something he's not ring any bells

He was on the bench for Charlton at the weekend. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like he's going to make it unless he buckles down and puts a shift in. Might be the wake up he needs
