Fuller coming off the bench is proven to be a successful tactic! See- Bolton, Villa and Wolves last season? We are unbeaten for the last few games when Fuller comes off the bench! The proof is in the pudding! I mean Fuller has scored his first goal in months when he came off the bench! It keeps him on his toes and means he plays better, which he most certainly does. I don't see why people don't realise this .

if Pulis uses some of his usual questionable tactics, he will become a "super sub". if he does the right thing, he will start him !!!

Let's hope his evil half-brother, Humphrey Pulis (the one that Phil Neville got him muddled up with) is picking the team tomorrow then. Or, failling that, Tone has taken a bang to the head.....
“And the pleasing thing is he looks to win every game. It’s not as if he sets up his team to defend and get draws, he sets up his team to win and to get the three points.”
Neville also believes Stoke’s attacking ethos should make for an open game this weekend.
He said: “Saturday’s game is going to be just the same. Tony’s going for three points; a point now at this stage of the season is no good to either side, and I think you’ll see a really entertaining game.

I can understand fuller assuming the super sub role if the two strikers before him were strikers guranteed to deliver week in week out. Take Beattie out of the equation who else is likely to score . I sure as hell dont see mama doing the business. I have not seen much of Camara to say he should start as well. I believe except for Fuller and Beattie the other strikers have more to prove at this point. Whats the point to have a supersub to come on and scrape out a draw. We are usually a goal down when fuller comes on in the substitute role Let's start the best eleven on the field and set the pace on that basis. This is a relegation battle, no time for tinkering.

For me Fuller has to start games. We don't have the luxury of being able to rest our best players, we need our best available line-up on the table every week if we can, because no game is easy from our remaining 10, and we still require points to stay in the division.
I'm a big fan of Mama, but at the moment it is plain to see he isn't fully fit, and isn't firing at full cylinders. I know the only way to boost his fitness is by playing him, but for me at this stage in the season, we can't afford to be carrying players in a bid to boost their fitness, i'm not saying isolate mama, just don't start him over fully fit players.
With the January additions, and improved quality on the flanks, is Mama really as required and key as he was? possibly. But the one difference from before he got injuried to when he has returned from injury is the fact we have invested in players that should allow us another approach going forward, with the added pace, goals, and creativity, we don't need to be as one-dimensional.
Whilst Beattie has been a fantastic and much needed addition, i still think Fuller at his best is even more dangerous, not only is he capable of scoring goals, but the runs he can produce to set opportunities up for other players is superb, he is a problem for any defence on his day.
I wouldn't be suprised if Pulis did use Ric as an impact player for much of the remaining 10 games, but for me, whilst fully fit, he HAS to start.

I also think that now we have Beatie, as a automatic starter, Riccy will realize that he has to play to the best of his ability when he's on the pitch. A Fuller really up for it for ninety minutes, along side Beattie, would be awesome. He'd really be a SUPER, SUPER sub, but I want to see him starting.

Been saying for weeks, yes he's a good sub but still wasted.
Ronaldo and Messi would be even better subs but funnily enough they aren't used as them

First goals are crucial and shape the game. We need our best players on to help us get them. Ours are invariably collecting splinters when they go in for the opposition.
